Photobooth quality was great, fun props and the attendant kept the line moving quickly. We got a nice book of all the prints and a usb with all the files at the end of the night. DJ C4 kept the dance floor packed and everyone could not stop commenting how much they loved his set and how great the music was. He was so professional and, for me, more importantly, he was so responsive and so flexible to the ever-changing and improvised nature of my wedding! We were changing plans throughout the night, delaying key moments (the bouquet toss, the speeches, etc) or adding new events (flash-mob) and he was able to respond quickly to the chaos and didn't once get annoyed. Tim and his assistant Don did everything possible to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible - acting as liaisons between us and the building manager, wait-staff and our bridal party. THEY WERE AWESOME. He also did a good job with the music making sure that the old people had there moment and the young people did as well. Even though I told him he could go home at 11:30 PM, he stayed until midnight because guests wanted to keep dancing - that's how great they were. Also, he was sooooooo nice and seemed genuinely excited for my husband and me, celebrating with us throughout the night. Tim is more than a DJ - he's an all-around manager and a key right-hand person on your wedding day. I recommend him 100%! My husband and I had seen Rick perform at 336 Main in Plymouth a few years back and decided we wanted to hire him when we got married. Wow - were we not disappointed! If you think he sounds good in a noisy bar - just wait until you hear him in a quieter space...an outdoor wedding reception tent perhaps? Amazing! Like I said before - this guy is definitely super, super talented and really knows how to work a crowd. Rick was the life of our reception and made the entire evening a smash success. Nothing phased him - from singing the last part of our first dance together a capella due to a popcorn machine temporarily blowing a fuse -to- masterfully taking requests from the crowd (including knowing how to handle requests from young girls asking for him to play Justin Bieber songs) -to- playing multiple instruments at one time and even dancing a final dance with our guests. We'd hire him in a heartbeat for any future event...and our friends and family can't stop talking about him. He was even so masterful with his mixing that some people thought he never took a break the entire night. We are still receiving compliments to this day. The equipment sounded crystal clear. The wedding music was important because my husband's family is Arabic but our friends are not. As the Bride to Be my biggest fear was no one was going to dance. They took care of those fears by properly reading the crowd. There was NO time during the entire reception that the dance floor was empty. Ideal Events successfully got every single person on the dance floor at some point in the night and the dance floor was full of people all night. I personally had a blast at my wedding and our DJ was a HUGE part in that. From the beginning of the planning process they were there and completely professional. They initially met with us at a possible wedding venue and we briefly discussed music. I then sent a must play/do not play list. My husband and I tend to favor rock music, which you cannot dance to so we decided to play specific music choices during cocktails and reception. They met with us again to go over all the music choices I sent and offer suggestions. We received a contract and questionnaire promptly after the first meet, which asked basic questions as well as our music preference and favorite bands and genres. When we finally decided on a venue they met us there again to speak with the venue about setup details and to check the space out. After scoping the joint out we sat for a while and went over the music choices we sent for the specific wedding moments. For the dancing part of the reception we gave some Arabic music and left the rest up to him. We met a final time a few days before the wedding where we dropped more Arabic music off on him in case we needed it to get people moving (which he didn't 'cause he's awesome) and to change our reception entrance song. They had the entire wedding time lined and typed out, which he shared with all our other wedding vendors. He communicated with the Pastor, the photographer, and the videographer so everyone was in place for all the special moments. They also made sure to phonetically write out everyone's names to ensure proper pronunciation. During the ceremony our DJ was perfectly on time with the bridal party, bride's entrance, sand ceremony, and the couple's exits. During the night of the wedding the DJ continued to surprise us by dropping some of our favorite genres and bands in the mix in such a way it made our night, surprised the guests, and got the party hoppin' He used the questionnaire he originally sent us to get a proper feel for our personal musical taste. Which was fantastic because the hubby and I figured we would have to cater to the mostly Arabic crowd to get people on the dance floor. Getting to hear the golden oldies mixed, current pop, ghetto rap, Metallica, old school freestyle, and Arabic dance music all in one night mixed so seamlessly had everyone amazed but most of all my husband and I were able to enjoy the dancing all night also.
