Established in 2004.

BOOG Event Services was birthed 15 years ago by our Founder & CEO, Larry N. Phillips. After touching his very first set of turntables in 1991, an inevitable bond was formed. What started as a hobby became a career path that merged his passion for music & people. He built a successful DJ business but wanted to do more so he expanded the brand to an event service company priding itself on providing memorable experiences for its clients. BOOG is an acronym for Bringing Out Other Greatness and it is our goal to bring you our best which in turn allows you to BE GREAT!

Meet the Business Owner: Larry P.

Larry Phillips, commonly known as DJ L BooG, started this journey after touching his very first set of turntables in 1991 forming an inevitable bond. Fast forward 9 years, and the path to a new career began while practicing in the basement of his cousin's home. What started as a hobby became a passion that led him to fulfill his goal of becoming an entrepreneur. After he established himself, he decided to expand the brand by creating a full service event company that would provide everything his clients were looking for. He realized how stressful planning a wedding or an event was for those he encountered. Now he's a one-stop shop for event services. Having a passion for people has helped over the years to provide great customer service & the expansion was the logically next step. Having the ability to remove some of the stresses from the planning process gives him satisfaction. Hopefully you're the next potential client to be serviced.
