They treat your lawn like it's their own, clean up is fantastic, if they say they're coming Wednesday they come on Wednesday. Like clockwork. I've never had anybody this good before. I would do a Google review however I don't have Google not do I want it. aside from the work they do, they're nice people, respectful, trustworthy, reasonably priced, and so forth. Dishonest, Inconsistent, and Not Worth Hiring…read more I usually only leave positive reviews, but after years of giving John McAvoy Landscaping chances, I feel it's important to share my experience. The first two summers were just average, but this year has been extremely disappointing. * The lawn was constantly cut unevenly, and I had to call every week asking them to lower the mower deck. * Despite being told weeds would be taken care of, they were done inconsistently (some weeks partially, some not at all) and eventually ignored completely. * Most recently, the crew didn't even attempt the weeds along the sidewalk -- they just skipped that side of the house altogether. After reviewing my home's camera footage, it was clear very little work was being done. When I finally confronted the issue, I was told they "don't do weeds" and only mow -- even though the service structure was different in previous years and this was never communicated upfront. The lack of honesty, poor communication, and overall shotty work make this the worst landscaping experience I've had. Unreliable, inconsistent, and not worth hiring.
