Good wood as described. Came on a big trailer with 2 full cords. I asked if he could dump half a full cord (which is a face cord) in one location and the rest in another. He manually unloaded a face cord and moved to the second spot and dumped the rest. Great job. read more

Awesome. I called five or so places for estimates for a tree-removal job. Not only did Promise get back to me the quickest--they offered the best price by (in one instance) a thousand bucks. A thousand bucks! They responded to calls and emails quickly and left the estimate on professionally-prepared documents about insurance and other aspects of the job. They showed up early on the day they said they would and double-checked with me the night before doing anything. Another cool thing: I planned on moving all the wood chips from the ground-up stump to around some other trees--like mulch. When I got home from work, I found that the tree guys had already done this without being asked. How cool is that? They left ZERO mess in my yard: other than the remaining chips by the stump, there are no wood shavings all over the pace and no branches lying around. That tree is really gone. Took one day for the job. I wish they also did bathrooms, tile, home remodeling, siding, and masonry. That's how much I like these guys. As a regular-old central Jersey homeowner, I have paid for my share of contractors; Promise Tree service is the best of any I have ever hired. If they had a T-shirt, I'd wear it. Bravo! read more

Duane and his crew did a great job removing a large tree we had in the front of our home. We were installing solar panels and had to get that tree removed and a few others trimmed. Everything is timing when dealing with weather. But, as soon as the weather permitted. They showed up when they said they would. Did a great job. Because the tree was so large unfortunately when the center of it came down, even though the crane was holding it. It bounce on the ground and rolled onto our concrete walkway and cracked it. Glad no one was hurt. Duane promised to repair the damage walkway. Just as the name says. Duane kept his promise and fixed our walkway. Overall, this company gets my vote for communication. Overall I was pleased. I had an oak tree and maple tree taken down. They did a great job leaving the yard clean. The crew was nice and respectful. They do answer emails quickly(some other companies never got back to me). The price was definitely reasonable for the work they did. Had some work that needed to be done ASAP around my home. After calling MANY tree service companies I was lucky enough to get in touch with Promise. They came out quickly and trimmed the offending tree. I was in the process of moving and was at the new home when they finished.
