I contacted them via Yelp and quickly got a call back and a quote (removal of a sofa and loveseat from the 2nd floor). On the day of the move, they called me from the truck saying the were running 5-10 min late due to traffic...it was great to get a proactive call. Once they arrived, there was trouble getting the sofa out of the room. After tying all possible angles they recommended cutting the couch in 1/2. They needed 15-20 min to go back to the shop and get a sawzall. From there things went smooth. Furniture removed, door that was taken down rehung, vacuumed up the cutting debris, etc.. Any time you're dealing with junk, there will be problems that arise. What separates ok, bad and great companies is how they handle these problems. VMAC is one of the GREAT ones...they made things right, honored the original price even with the extra work and asked no less than 50 times if there was anything else they could do to make things right.
