We honestly don't know what we'd do without Dave! His prices are fair, his advice is always spot-on, and he has a knack for finding creative solutions. If there's ever an emergency--like when our roof started leaking--he shows up right away. Most recently, when we had a time-sensitive problem with our front door, he was here to take care of it. Our home dates back to the 1860s, which means nothing is ever straightforward (or even straight!), But Dave has tackled it all with skill and patience. He's rebuilt our porch and deck, installed new window frames and gutters, sealed the roof, concreted the basement, fixed plumbing, fitted our washing machine, repaired masonry, straightened crooked doors--the list goes on and on. Every task was completed with great attention to detail, and he made sure everything was in perfect working order before leaving. The wood around my garage door was damaged from termites and needed to be replaced because the door was pulling away from the wall. Dave was the only contractor I contacted that would do the work. The others were reluctant because they didn't want to remove the garage door. Guess what, it didn't have to be removed, Dave propped up the door, removed the damaged wood, the Sheetrock, replaced the wood and Sheetrock and my door is secure for another 40 years! David has been to our house several times for upgrades we can't do ourselves any longer. Today he replaced an old and stained kitchen sink with a new faucet. We couldn't be happier. There are always problems that pop up with any new project but David solved the issue and made it right. He has always done a great job and we really appreciate the fact he's affordable. David also built a door jam and walls for a basement door where there was none. We just had an open staircase going down into the basement which I found unsafe and scary. Great job! read more

I contacted Dave by e-mail, and he responded quickly. We also communicated by phone. I needed a door handle repaired on a wooden door in the back of my house.
