Ryan Rehabilitation sends a letter to people with pending court cases stating that they "must take…read moreimmediate action," and that they are "REQUIRED to attend a treatment or Education Program" prior to court. This is not true, and a large group of people could attend a treatment program and pay for it and have no impact whatsoever on their legal outcome. They should have to have a disclaimer in the letter stating that it is not required, not court-ordered, and that the person should first consult with an attorney before starting any program with a pending criminal or traffic case. They further claim that "This Program will assist in the reinstatement of your Driver License!" and that also is not true in every case and is very misleading. They charge $200 for an evaluation and an initial session, which is exorbitant.

I don't recommend him. He initially seemed really professional by returning my phone message about…read moresetting up a meeting, so l gave him a shot. I find him very distant and inexperienced. He seems to try to do the least amount and doesn't add anything to your thoughts ( like many therapists should do from their education). In retrospect, I believe he was eager to return my voicemail due to needing clients. He is fairly immature and even tends to sleep, even snore during my meetings. I am surprised, since I gave him my business and time!! He also makes everything personal and reacts to talks very poorly and reminds me of being abused mentally sometimes in his narcissistic presence. I understand you need to have a professionalism but his way of dealing with you is very cold and dismissive ( I suppose his way of being professional is that) I honestly felt like l wasted my time especially now with a new therapist that takes his job seriously. Side note: I got an email that l finally read where he was clarifying to me that he told me it was a different time and year that he graduated, so l retract that from my previous review , however he is still a very unskilled therapist and from the email , still manipulative/ deceptive and unprofessional. From the moment we connected via email, I had a good feeling about her. She responded promptly, and she even communicated with me via text message, which I found very personable and accessible. Her office is easy to locate and is located on a serene property surrounded by trees and nature. I found it calming before I even walked inside. Inside is a beautifully decorated office space, I would call it quite simple and zen. She gave me a little tour on my first visit. One of the many things I enjoy about my sessions with Jessica is that she takes the time to ask me questions about how I have been doing over the last couple of weeks. She is a wonderful listener and is always concerned about how I am feeling and what is going on in my life. She always remembers what we spoke about and remembers my loved ones' names, which I find very thoughtful and nice. After we catch up on life, she asks me what my main concern(s) are currently. I tell her what they are and then she proceeds to guide me through a meditative hypnosis wherein we focus on the topic or person of my choice. From the first session, I felt a weight lifted off my chest. Three sessions after that, I feel more empowered, confident, and peaceful. Meditation is something I have been learning and practicing for a few years. At times during meditation, one can feel vulnerable and fearful. I feel protected and safe when Jessica guides me through a meditation/hypnosis, and that is extremely important for it to be effective. Hypnosis was something I have never done before, but always wanted to try. I have learned in my personal studies that much of our inner healing takes place when we are silent and still. I find that silence to be very healing - even though it's hard sometimes to be still and silent for longer than 5 minutes for someone as restless as me. She guides me through a meditation that I helped create (my happy place is a beautiful beach). She has also guided me through other various hypnotic states. I have learned how to better meditate and visualize whatever results I want. I have also learned how to focus more on gratitude and less on fear-based thought patterns and behaviors. It's hard to describe how helpful meditation and hypnosis are - but I believe they're the best kind of therapy that exist. Jessica is one of the most kind hearted and also professional people I have ever worked with. She has given me tools that I can take with me and use any time in my life. She has a VERY calming presence and voice, and she fluctuates her tone during the hypnosis, which I find to be very pleasant and relaxing. Nurse Practitioner Runsewe is unprofessional, rude, and lacks compassion. She is not even a…read morecertified doctor and wishes for the clients to refer her as "Dr. Runsewe." She has forgotten to send my medications to the pharmacy on multiple occasions, as well as "scheduling me for next month" but then does not actually follow through with this. I am on two medications and for the past 2 months, she has only sent ONE medication to the pharmacy. Fortunately I have some left-over from my previous insurance, but this is a BLANTANT DISREGARD to my mental health and functioning. I've asked her multiple times to please send them the day of our sessions as that is usually when my medication runs out. Just this past week I saw her at 9AM and she said she would send the prescriptions to the pharmacy in the "afternoon." I spoke twice with the receptionist at noon and again at 5pm who stated they had sent NP Runsewe messages to forward my meds to the pharmacy but this was never done. Flashforward to the next day and I still don't have my medications. I had to send an email to various providers to Green Ridge and ONLY ONE medicaiton was sent in the morning. NP Runsewe still had forgotten to send my second medication and was only finally sent after I sent even more emails out. I've only been a patient here for a few months but am already thinking of finding a different practice to receive services at.
