I read that the overgrowth can go systemic, into the bloodstream and into organs. I never mentioned in my original post that I had recently had a horrible sore throat that seemed to go into my esophagus - never had anything like this before - and it wasn't going completely away. Trouble swallowing. Medical doctor did bloodwork and I was negative for Covid antibodies. I am convinced that the patch in my lung is from the candida, which can cause pneumonia. In addition I do not want to take anti-fungal drugs so I am following a strict protocol of attempting to eliminate the overgrowth. First of all, the Venice Nutrition program seems almost tailor made for me since it is a blood sugar stabilization program.
