Later in the day when the tire was replaced i headed out again and the tire blew again on Highbury as there has an issue with the suspension rubbing on the tire that the garage didn't realize. I called Shane and he was back quickly to tow me again from a dangerous spot . He got my Mini Cooper safely back to the garage and this time it was repaired correctly. My daughter, Kristen was coming from Ottawa to surprise her sister Rachel for her birthday today(August 31) and was in an accident just this side of St. Thomas. She hit a transport truck and she spun out on the 401 at 1 am this morning. She ended up quite a ways off the highway down in deep grass/ditch area. If she would have lost consciousness who knows how long it would have been before we found her. Thankfully her and my grandpuppy- are safe and home in Chatham with us. Shout out to the OPP who were wonderful and compassionate through the entire ordeal. But I have nothing but bad things to say about the tow company and the guy who towed her jeep back to Chatham. He was rude, and unkind(I have a few other names but won't say them here) He was only worried about the money he was going to charge us to get her car back to Chatham and seemed to not care at all if she was ok. He wasn't going to allow me to get her suitcases out of her car until he put it up on a flatbed truck. When I asked for a 3rd time if I could get her stuff out of the car so she would have clothes at my house for the night. ..he said "what are you in a hurry" Not in a hurry...but wanted to get my daughter home where she could feel safe and secure after the scarey ordeal she had just thankfully lived through. It appeared he was not happy to have to do his job. He appeared upset that we wanted the vehicle brought to Chatham instead of to their compound in St. Thomas where they would charge us daily compound storage fees. As a customer we have the choice and should not have to feel like we were inconveniencing him. We wanted it brought to Chatham to make things easier to deal with getting her jeep repaired. Sorry...NOT sorry we inconvenienced you by making you do your job. I will never use Loveday's Towing out of St. Thomas again and will be sure that others know what a horrific experience this cold hearted man brought to what was already terrifying for my daughter and myself as a mother!!!

I call back and they weren't busy at all. Wanted to come right then and there. Iexplained the situation and that I needed a tow for 7am. Buddy tells me to call in the morning????? This made me eneasy but agreed. Next morning, I call, the guy is obviously sleeping, doesn't even know what day it is and says it will be two and a half hours!!
