A beautiful luxury experience, gorgeous from the lobby to the shower. Staff have all been wonderful. The cathedrals/convents and Plaza Mayor, with all its adjoining restaurants, shops, and taverns are a short 2 min walk across the street. The hotel staff speak English if you need, and are very knowledgeable about the area.

They had a printing and computer kiosk outside our door. They had an interior little courtyard that we only took a glance at. They have a lovely atrium area where you can wait and a nice little bar and space to sit for breakfast, I presume. They offer valet parking or you can pack for yourself. It's very conveniently located for the best sites in Salamanca.

There was no parking available in their garage, but we found free street parking just a block away and saved €12. The room was basic and beds comfy, but the radiators were on and there was no remote for the AC, so the room was hot and we had to leave the window open all night with a bright street light just feet away illuminating our room. I need a cool, dark room when I sleep, so I opted for cool and dawned a sleeping mask and earplugs, not optimal. Breakfast was minimal, toast, butter, jam, ham and cheese, fruit, and some packaged pastries. The pot of very dark coffee was extremely strong, even for me, and they had OJ and water, not a great selection. They do accept pets, so my service animal was welcome in all areas of the hotel, but they added €9 to the room for a total of €70. Not a great TravelValue, but I have seen much worse. I am not sure what it is called in Spanish but it was so delicious. The duck was succulent. It was baked in a dark sauce that was reminiscent of a rotisserie taste. I just hate that I didn't have more of these yummy veggies. They gave a literal table spoon of them. It was around 12 euros. The next night I ordered the Pechuga de Pollo Empanada, Patatas y Ensalada and this was very, very good. This is not the Latin American empanada. No, this is breaded chicken, solo, with french fries and a salad with a very yummy tasting vinaigrette dressing. It was only about 9 euros. It was so filling and healthy and good

The hotel staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff are very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast is a self service buffet with many choices. The underground car park garage entrance by elevator lift is a bit tricky to learn how to enter but we easily adapted. We had a medium size Mercedes's E 200 5 door that fit easily and we also saw larger cars including a van in our second level. The location is a easy walk to many restaurants and cultural sights. Would highly recommend.
