    Savory pancakes

Honestly a life changing brunch. Maybe it's cause I was tipsy off of my glass of verde wine (which was great), but the salty pancakes here are to DIE for. The spicy fruit sauce is truly unique and I was obsessed! The coffee with milk was also great quality. It was so cute inside and service was soo sweet to me! A TikTok rec gone right, I'd definitely come back when I can!

Don't look any further, this is the place you want to come to for breakfast/brunch!!! We walked in and were given two menus to seat ourselves. We sat down looked over the menu a couple minutes and a waiter immediately came to take our orders. Mimosas were out first followed by our latte and tea. Not long afterwards our meals came out and not only did they look amazing but tasted delicious. My traditional breakfast was really tasty, the sausage was probably the best I've had and the salad was the freshness I needed on my plate. The sweet waffles came with a side of caramel sauce (I didn't get the ice cream) with fresh fruit on top. The fruit was so incredibly fresh. The ambiance was rustic and had an outside terrace boasting green plants and sunlight. Definitely adding this place to our repeat places to eat!!!

We had a great breakfast at Do Norte, and loved the environment and the service. We all had the brunch do norte and were completely satisfied!

Wonderful little back patio and big restaurant space hidden in the back. Menu is extensive and everything we had popped with unique flavor. Servers were friendly and spoke English. Definitely recommend

For a satisfying dining experience in Porto, consider visiting Floresta Cafe and Hungry Biker. The meal is definitely worth it with very good food offered at reasonable prices. I opted for the crispy chicken salad featuring feta, pomegranates, and lettuce, which was more than generous. The ambiance is very bohemian and bustling, adding to the overall experience.

Nice cafe to get brunch with great designs and a plants filled sunroom at the end. The service is good and they have a lot of brunch options, especially sweet waffles. We tried the brunch special which came with a ton of stuff but it was expensive compared to other places we tried. It's only worth it if you come hungry. There tends to be a 10-15 mins wait and they don't offer takeout when it's busy

During our trips to Porto we visited both restaurants by Biker. Great decor, small but thoughtful menu, big servings, great tastes. We shared the salty pancakes and French toast.

One of the best breakfast spots in Porto. We came back 3 times during our week-long stay in Porto. Food was delicious (between the 4 of us, we tried at least half the items on their menu). Service was attentive and quick! They kindly let us to modify and substitute items to meet our dietary needs and preferences. Would definitely recommend Do Norte to anyone looking for a filling meal in Porto.

Impressed by the creativity, freshness and presentation of the food. Happy place with exceptional service and an interesting environment. A great discovery. I'll be back soon and often.

So amazing! Good was good, prices were pretty good, and the staff was super nice. Also just so beautiful inside the restaurant.

Amazing atmosphere (transported us to another place) and even better food! The staff were very friendly and the food came out fast. We both got the brunch special. It included a coffee (I got the caramel latte which was to die for), yogurt, and a huge portion breakfast plate! I would highly recommend this to anyone coming to Porto! Cameron: The name "...by Hungry Biker" is perfect. The portion was massive and this was the perfect meal to start our day. Cyclists know how to eat

It is definitely a hidden gem! The best breakfast we had in Portugal, we can't stop talking about it! We had their Brunch traditional and Brunch do norte, so filling and so delicious! Everything tasted so fresh and I was surprised that I wasn't bloated. We ate so much and we were good until 6pm! I wish I could go back soon! Such a cute little shop, it felt so nice and homey. The service was great as well! They do speak English!

Whenever I write a whole bunch of review drafts while I'm on vacation, the last couple are always…read morethe hardest to get around to finishing... so this is now a review from almost half a year ago. But given they opened in 1896, I have a feeling they haven't changed *too* much since late January... Anyway, I got here a little after 11 AM, for lunch - it was already pretty busy, even that early. When you walk in, there's a bakery side with an astonishing array of grab and go pastries, both savory and sweet. I wished I could have tried way more of them than I had the chance to, only having so much room, and only being in Porto long enough to visit here once, and mainly for a sit-down meal, specifically, to try their francesinha (though I did get some to-go stuff for me and my wife to try later in the day as a snack, and for breakfast the following morning). I was a little nervous when I saw a sign that said the "restaurant" didn't open until noon, but it turns out while they have a slightly less chaotic upstairs for sit-down service that opens at noon, they also have sit-down service in the back half of the main downstairs space. Despite being quite busy, I had no issues ordering quickly after sitting down, nor getting said orders quickly after ordering. I also liked that, rather than having to wait for a check at the end, when you order, they hand you a card with your check balance, then you pay at the front before leaving, after adding any pastries you're getting from the bakery side. So the francesinha I was most specifically there for, was... a gold standard drowned sandwich. The one I had here was the first version I'd tried, but having subsequently tried a couple others, I can say, at least of those I tried, this was definitely the most decadent, just oozing egg and cheesy goodness. Wonderful sauce, wonderfully perfectly over-medium egg, great meat and a ton of it... came with a bunch of great fries, too, which were great for dipping in the leftover francesinha sauce (especially after I added some tabasco to it.) While I was eating, I also had several drinks to go with it - as seems much more common in Portugal than in the US, they had very fresh, delicious fresh-squeezed orange juice for not very much money. The OJ was great. Their house port was also quite cheap, and would also have been solid, but at least the day I was there, they really needed to have chilled it properly (yes, I did have port with my before-noon brunch... I was on vacation, and no other city is overflowing with such good, cheap port everywhere :p.) Their espresso was... just ok. Better than Starbucks, and again, like most places in Porto, much cheaper, but it was a bit light. I'd had a lot of amazing espresso around the city, less so here. For later, I also left with: a pile of the typical seafood empanadas (the cod was a bit too salty, but the shrimp was *perfect*), a baked chorizo and cheese roll (omg excellent), a slice of fudge-y, rich chocolate (wonderful - got it specifically to bring with me to the next port tasting room I visited, as the absolutely perfect pairing, which it was), and a couple pastel de nata (I'd made it a goal to try as many different versions as I could. The one here, the custard was the perfect texture, and perfectly balanced sweetness, with a hint of baking spices I also enjoyed; their crust was a little crunchy to be perfect, though. Still, solid.) For all of that, including a whole *pile* of the little empanadas and an extra to-go small container of the fresh OJ, at least as of now a few months ago, I paid under 40 euro. I would definitely make sure to be back here at *least* once if I ever made it back to Porto.

Jamie W and I had read about it on a travel vlog and recognized the need to bookmark it for our trip to Porto. Sure enough, we had a less than memorable meal at Honest Greens on the pedestrian-only Rua Santa Catarina. It was just a few doors down and conspicuous by its atmospheric detail. Carved dark wood, ornate ceilings, polished brass, marble tables, the whole nine yards. We almost felt underdressed until we noticed other tourists in far tackier leisurewear. We only had room for dessert which was just as well since they had a robust selection to choose from. Surprisingly it was nearly empty when we entered. Jamie ordered the 10€ Cheesecake with Red Fruits. It was a nice, creamy slice ladled with a compote-like coulis of blueberries and red currants (Photo 9). It was accompanied by a glass of Porto Quinta do Noval LBV, a scintillating port that fed into his new addiction (Photo 7). I decided to try their signature 10€ French Toast Majestic Style made distinctive by its decadent egg-custard cream sauce. The flavorful bread slice sat in a shallow pool of maple syrup and sprinkled with pine nuts, walnuts, and raisins (Photo 10). Instead of a port pairing, I ordered the 7€ Cafe au Lait which balanced well with the French toast (Photo 8). I really think the Belle Epoque decor complemented our digestion because this was the gathering spot for Porto's elite. For a few moments, we were part of it.
