One of the best place for breakfast near where we are staying. The breakfast here are fancy and tasty but at a good price. Really enjoyed early morning here since its not noisy and great morning vibes. A must come.

Been here twice already and just had a great experience both times. Staff was very friendly, having full on conversations, attentive, and helpful. Food was good. Both times always had foot traffic in the Cafe. Prices are decent as well. This would be a go to spot for me if there was one back home. That's how much I enjoy it.

Yes please visit this coffee shop when visiting Porto! They have cafe style food that is swagger and matcha iced tea! Service is outstanding and the ambiance is very friendly and chic!

This is some excellent coffee in a popular, adorable cafe. We stopped here for a rest on our long walk in the area. My husband got a macchiato, and I never get one because it's usually made with crappy, fake milk chocolate, but this was made with high-quality dark chocolate. It was so rich and tasty. I got an iced tea, which was pretty sweetened, but I didn't mind it. It was quite refreshing on such a hot, sweaty day!

Great breakfast spot. Relatively crowded on a Sunday afternoon but our group of 3 was able to get a table within 15 min. Relatively small/moderate portion sizes (which is preferred). Cappuccino and white mocha were great. The pancake was well made, and super refreshing with the fruit and ice cream (honey, strawberry, banana). The salmon and cream cheese was also delicious (portions of salmon in the sandwich could have been slightly higher but overall good!). Would recommend.

Absolutely loved the brunch and coffee here! They have free WiFi and outside seating. Order at the counter. Staff was incredible and attentive. Will definitely be back when I visit Porto again.

Great food, centrally located, exceptionally friendly service, and of course WiFi. Breakfast of champions, highly recommended!

So I didn't try any of their *food* food, which seems to be a focus, but they're definitely providing a great service to anyone in the area who needs some quality morning coffee. 4 euro for an oat milk latte is a pretty great price, and it was a great latte. Since I was there and saw that they also sold pastries, I also got a filled croissant for 3 euro, which made a great breakfast - the croissant itself, honestly, was just good, but the cream filling was fantastic. p.s. if you're just here for a to-go coffee like I was - there's signage around, or at least was when I was there, that makes it seem like they only have table service, so I awkwardly saw at a table until they told me I could absolutely also order at the counter, especially if I was ordering to-go.

Start your day here. Food: My girlfriend worked through the benedicts, all solid. I stuck with the eggs and eggplant dish, which sounds odd but works and doesn't weigh you down for a day of walking and wine. Drinks: Excellent across the board. We're coming from Seattle with a former barista in the mix, and this didn't miss. Service: Consistently great. Smooth, attentive, no friction. Vibe: Worth showing up for on its own. We watched people stop, look in, and take photos. It has that pull. What could be better: Not much. It gets busy, and for good reason.

Jamie W and I had read about it on a travel vlog and recognized the need to bookmark it for our trip to Porto. Sure enough, we had a less than memorable meal at Honest Greens on the pedestrian-only Rua Santa Catarina. It was just a few doors down and conspicuous by its atmospheric detail. Carved dark wood, ornate ceilings, polished brass, marble tables, the whole nine yards. We almost felt underdressed until we noticed other tourists in far tackier leisurewear. We only had room for dessert which was just as well since they had a robust selection to choose from. Surprisingly it was nearly empty when we entered. Jamie ordered the 10€ Cheesecake with Red Fruits. It was a nice, creamy slice ladled with a compote-like coulis of blueberries and red currants (Photo 9). It was accompanied by a glass of Porto Quinta do Noval LBV, a scintillating port that fed into his new addiction (Photo 7). I decided to try their signature 10€ French Toast Majestic Style made distinctive by its decadent egg-custard cream sauce. The flavorful bread slice sat in a shallow pool of maple syrup and sprinkled with pine nuts, walnuts, and raisins (Photo 10). Instead of a port pairing, I ordered the 7€ Cafe au Lait which balanced well with the French toast (Photo 8). I really think the Belle Epoque decor complemented our digestion because this was the gathering spot for Porto's elite. For a few moments, we were part of it. FOOD / DRINK - 5 stars...glorious sweets, especially the French toast, and the port and caffeine were nice fits AMBIANCE - 5 stars...striking atmosphere befitting an Agatha Christie murder mystery in the Gilded Age SERVICE - 4.5 stars..,of course they're attentive TOTAL - 5 stars...a worthy stop among many in Porto RELATED - Exploring Porto? I was absolutely shook at the prices. 7€ for a pingo? (A sip of expresso with a drop of milk and the cup is slightly bigger than two or three thimbles. To compare, you can go most anywhere else and pay about 1€ for a pingo.) 8/9 euros for a hot chocolate? You can get cup of milk for 3/4 euros though, at the store you can get a whole liter for .89€ Listen, I am 100% sure being in this cafe is a dream for some potter fans but it is sad that the prices are that insane, but... clearly people pay them. I politely excused myself and I walked across the way and had two pork rissóis and a cup of coffee (not a baby pingo- think cappuccino size) for 3€... and for free, the real Portuguese experience with locals. The people I engaged with were lovely and kind here. This review is for the prices. Not the food, drinks, or service. Let's be real, of course ambiance is off the chart gorgeous. So if you don't mind a 50€ tab for 3-4 baby, baby coffees maybe just take a picture from the outside and call it good. There are more local and authentic things to do in Porto than pay 7€ for an orange juice or pingo.
