Our experience at Docklands was a bit lackluster. We were excited to have our first fish and chips in the UK so we got the Docklands Fish Special to try a bit of everything. The special had cod, haddock, calamari, scampi with chips and mushy peas. Unfortunately, we made the wrong choice as the cod and haddock was a quarter of a fillet compared to what others were having. Due to the thickness of the batter, we didn't end up with much fish at all and there was only a small nub of fish underneath it all. The calamari and scampi were good, chips were okay. We doused out box with vinegar, but couldn't taste it since it was so watered down. Overall not what we were looking forward to. Next time (if there is one), I would just get a full fillet of fish and not the 'special'.

Large portions at a great price. Fish & chips dinner was £10.95 and fish was freshly fried. Batter is light and crispy. Chips are thick cut and fluffy. Nothing is too salty, my palate wanted me to add more salt. Also comes with mushy peas. Really great value, could probably split one dinner box between 2 people because it's a lot of food.

Food: the food was so yummy. The portion was great for the price. The fries were different from what I'm used to but I loved the fries with the gravy. I literally saw him batter the fish and fry it after I ordered which was super cool. Environment: the inside isn't the nicest but just find a seat outside and you're doing great. The view out to the water is amazing. It wasn't too busy and I got my food out pretty quickly. Service: the service was great. I'm not from England and Paul (one of the employees) was super friendly with giving suggestions on where to go and things. I would 10/10 go here again.

The Albert dock has many good restaurants, but this place rules! From the moment you walk in, the smells of fried foods is overwhelmingly good. Many people were standing in line also. The good sized portion of cod fish was fried just right, light and crispy but not too oily. The mushy peas were a good British side dish to complement the chips (fries). All for about £9 for a lunch. I will definitely come back here if visiting Liverpool again.

Pretty good and reasonable price fish and chips. Huge portion!!! Haddock and Cod are highly recommended! Mushy peas are interesting but not my cup of tea. Fishes are so fresh no fishy smell. Great price for the food in the tourist area.

It was a lovely and much appreciated stop after we had Beatle'd our way through most of Liverpool and then headed up to Albert Dock. The fish and chips were very good, but my favorite still, is a little kebap joint right across from The Adelphi Hotel near Lime Street Station. That said, the chips were delightfully crisp and not at all greasy, The wait staff was very friendly, prompt, and helpful, and the crowd inside Docklands was a happy and lively one. A really nice place to stop to eat while you're dockside.

Good piece of fish , the malt and vinegar is a little too diluted , chips were ok but definitely not fresh , for the money it's a value
