Hank had a major issue with this & voiced his displeasure over the mic using profane language. THEN got back on the mic to tell the mother of the bride to go F herself, F her, etc. 100+ of our guests stood open mouthed in shock. Thankfully, our Videographers caught every bit of this debacle & even stated that out of the hundreds of weddings he's worked, he's never witnessed an incident so disrespectful. I would highly recommend NOT hiring this DJ.

He played a selection of songs that no one seemed to enjoy and showed no awareness of the crowd's reactions or energy. Throughout the night, he repeatedly left his DJ booth--sometimes for up to 30 minutes at a time. When guests tried to simply skip a song by pressing one button he returned and made a scene in front of everyone, and even used profanity (the F-word) in front of a dance floor full of children. After that, he packed up his equipment and left the event entirely. Fortunately, we had a Bluetooth speaker on hand, which turned out to be a blessing. Once we started playing our own music, everyone had a much better time. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend skipping this DJ altogether--bring your own speaker and playlist, and you'll be guaranteed a far better experience.

His energectic personality was infectious. I found him to be very in tune with the atmosphere of the event all evening. He made necessary announcements when needed, in a dignified and professional manner. He played elegant, soft music while we ate dinner, and took requests all evening long. He was engaged with the guests and family all evening. By the time we had finished dinner, Shawn then turned it up a notch and had everyone in the room on the dance floor. Everyone was laughing, dancing, and enjoying themselves, which is exactly what we wanted. Even the grandparents were on the floor.
