The most recent contact I had was when a close family member's dog had suddenly passed away at the age of 15. A dog. This dog was very well known and extremely well loved to the point he was practically a sibling. I called to order sympathy flowers, and half way through the order I began to cry. Not just a sniffle, but a real cry when thinking about how dependent his owner was on that lovable,dark fluff of fur. Despite how silly I felt for crying over a dog, the lady who took my call treated me with the utmost dignity and respect. She was patient. She was kind. She truly understood. She didn't treat me any differently when I explained we were on a tight budget. Looking back now, she truly was amazing! Not only was the customer service outstanding, but the bouquet received by our family was reported as "outstanding". But I didn't really need that feedback, because the quality of the flowers over the last couple of decades has always been top notch from this florist. In closing, I appreciate this business and hope they continue with the same business model. We have many family members in the area and take great comfort in knowing our heartfelt emotions will be always be expressed perfectly through flowers through this company. Thank you, Zimlich!

Their rep was immediately hostile and said she did not have any order under my name or the recipient's name. She spoke as if it was my fault she could not find the order. She eventually found it. The picture shows what was provided on pickup. These are obviously grocery store flowers. They had no smell and generally looked cheap. Maybe this is personal preference, but the colors clash really badly. The hydrangeas look like their stems were stuck in dye to make them this shade of blue. For $75, this is incredibly disappointing - especially when I could have gone to a different florist and received a florist-quality bouquet.

BIG MISTAKE - Buyer Beware. Those flowers were poorly put together and fell apart on my friends front porch when her granddaughter tried to lift the package. My friend said that she always uses Zimlich and was surprised by the way the local florist contracted by the dot.com florist did business. I was horrified and embarrassed. Fast forward to today. I called the Sage avenue location of Zimlich and was fortunate enough to speak with a super sweet employee named Sherry. I explained to her what had happened last week and asked for help putting together a new order. Sherry was amazing and knew her flowers. She told me what was fresh in stock and helped me to decide. I chose to go with a "designer's choice option" because I got a really good feeling talking with her and she also mentioned that the florist working today was extremely talented with many years of experience. I ordered the flowers around 8:30 Central time. The flowers were delivered close to 10:00 AM Central. (There was some really bad weather expected later in the day, so I am VERY appreciative that the flowers were delivered before the storm rolled through). My friend called me later in the morning to thank us and to tell me how beautiful the second arrangement was. Our friend can't lift over ten pounds and also told me also that the delivery man had been fabulous and had carried the arrangement to a safe location inside for her. THANK YOU SHERRY! THANK YOU ZIMLICH! Ya'll know how to treat people! It's no wonder you have been in business for so many years! I HIGHLY recommend this business to anyone needing to send gifts in their service area. The fruit was pretty good but better than that were the cookies! They were soft and each flavor was delicious. Honestly couldn't choose a favorite. The only thing preventing a perfect rating for me is the fact that the giver selected the lemonade popcorn but they were out when the order was picked up and another flavor had to be selected. Unfortunately none of the other flavors really seemed appealing. It wasn't enough to deter recommending them. The overall experience was wonderful!
