We described what was going on and what needed to be done, and the guy said he did repairs and would come look at it. The next day he came out, looked at the pool, did nothing, and left without a word to my husband. When I texted him he said he didn't have the parts in his warehouse, that he normally just replaced the whole motor, etc. I found a pool store that did carry the parts. He told me if I went and got the parts he would repair the pool. Huh?!?!?!? I was at work. Apparently the job was too small and not worth his time. He clearly didn't want to do the job so we found someone else to do the repair. We will never call him again, and have told all our friends to never use him.

He will take your money without completing the job. He is highly unprofessional and arrogant. Imagine paying a "business" thousands of dollars for a service and being told that you shouldn't ask any questions until AFTER the job is done! And, literally being screamed at for verifying information about my own pool and while at the same time criticizing me for wanting everything perfect - umm yeah - perfection is a requirement when you are shelling out thousands of dollars. He does a half asz job and is very unreliable. He can't even install a pool light correctly. He had assured me that he would replace a perfectly fine working bulb with a new upgraded model. He installed the bulb but the light wouldn't come on. He got ticked off after I discovered the light wouldn't come on and started complaining saying he only came to open the pool and get his check. And that he didn't come there for that. He then called me all but a liar saying the light never worked in the first place, then blamed the GFI. After I turned on a yard light running off the same GFI, he said it was the fuse and after inspecting the fuse and it worked, he then said it was the wiring but couldn't do anything about it because the wire was too short? To reslove this issue I told him to put my old bulb back in the pool and we'd both see that it actually does work and always has; and see that the real problem is his shoddy workmanship. He never installed my old bulb nor came back to fix the replacemet. I expected a full walk through after he finished the job that he was paid for, but instead he chose to snatch the check out of my hand and walk away while yelling at me and saying he was offended that I would question his work. I felt like I was dealing with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, short fused, egotistical, rude, hostile, combative, and aggressive. Never will I ever use Perry Pool Service again.

He was on time , stayed in communication up until he arrived and was very knowledgeable in person. He quoted me a very reasonable quote and what surprised me was how quickly he said he was going to be done , despite having another commitment he was currently working on. I agreed on the price and he was done in two days. He worked quickly and precisely and the deck was excellently constructed. He mentioned having worked mostly in California and having certifications in many fields, including tile and appliance removal/replacement. On time, fast, efficient, courteous... and most importantly, their fees for the work are about the most economical you can find. I would have gave him 5 stars, but it felt like he was rushing in the beginning to get things done and damaged our irrigation lines(which I had marked and exposed to show their average depths). He also ran into the 6" well head that was sticking up about 14" above grade. The good news is he repaired every bit back to new again, which I was very pleased with. His concrete crew was the best I had ever seen! Pored and finished to perfection 5 truck loads of concrete in about 6 hours! Our new driveway looks so ooo good!
