Do not come to this facility. The nurses are so rude. I called to explain the mix up with my medication and the nurse hung up on me! She preceded to tell me that the doctor would not call in another prescription without even asking him! When I asked to speak to the doctor they said he probably will not call you back. We were the only ones here and still had to wait over an hour for the front receptionist to come in from another location. When we told them we were leaving they said that she was only 5 minutes away and we might as well wait. Once she got here, she did not address us nor offer any assistance. When we told her we were waiting for her she said that we took to long to check in and to check in again ( Mind you we were waiting for her to get here) Then another person came in and they were talking bad about some other experiences with patients. Not the best experience and would look otherwise. When we saw who I believe is not a doctor, he was very unprofessional. I have never experienced a doctor or nurse respond in such ways. read more

I went in after a surgery, due to concerns of an infection. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, with a diagnosis and antibiotics being sent to my pharmacy of choice. It's also nice that being the weekend, I was able to see a doctor at the cost of a normal doctor visit from my insurance, and not an ER visit. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I came about an hour before closing and felt bad about it, but they assured me they were happy to be there for me, etc. Very difffent than what I see from my of the other reviewers, if I go again sometime I'll update to reflect if that changes. read more

Absolutely terrible. Unorganized and completely lacking empathy. I had to go in and raise hell with the administration and threaten malpractice to get anything done. Front office staff is extremely rude and enjoy their power over people in need. Watch closely. You'll catch the smirks. Took over a month for a referral to an orthopedic surgeon because they just couldn't get it together. Incredibly disappointing. Only location worth anything is the one off S.P.I.D.. After threatening to get a lawyer we finally got the referral to a specialist. All of this because a nurse practitioner did not update medical records like she should have causing a misdiagnosis of a sprain when in fact MRI shows 4 torn ligaments. Wow! read more

On a Thursday morning, I was in and out of there within 20 minutes. Filled out my paperwork online, no wait when I arrived, was in a patient room within four minutes of walking in the front door. I'll be honest, though there were no other patients there so, maybe that's why I had a different experience than a lot of other people. I called Sunday morning and scheduled an appointment on line for 1200 noon. I receieved an email that I was scheduled and to make sure I arrived before my scheduled time. I drove all the way across town and arrived early waiting in my vehicle. I then received a call from one of the staff advising that I could not be seen since they did not have a provider. I had been suffering from severe sciatic nerve pain since returning to a retail job after being ill. I was in and out in less than an hour with a steroid shot that helped significantly, a few painkillers that wouldn't be too strong, and a referral to physical therapy. The Dr was polite and considerate, and as a bigger person, I'm used to all issues being solely attributed to my weight when clearly it's not the case, so when there was no mention of that, I was very impressed. The only comment he made was that anyone could suffer from sciatica no matter what size you were at. And they took my insurance (BCBS) so it only cost 40 dollars in total. Very pleased overall and feeling much better. read more

Dr. Tappan and I have been going to the Doctors Center for 5 years. The staff is always kind and helpful. I have very complex heath issues and Jace Cain C. N. P. has taken excellent care of my husband and myself. I highly recommend this dedicated man who is highly intelligent and listens never rushed any of my appointments. He goes the extra mile and has helped me get through some difficult issues with my personal health care. I highly recommend him and the staff at the Doctors Center and feel fortunate to receive the excellent care, I wish everyone at the Doctors Center buona fortuna good fortune in Italian. Been here few times for a quick fix up, this place is like Iraq of Doc in the Boxes, like cmon guys get your 3$#$# together. The ladies in the window are always inconvienced that you arrived, and always have a tude. The waitin area is worse than anything 2014 has to offer. At least update your waiting area... The PA which is usually there both times I've been always jumps to conclusions... but hey what do you expect. If you need a Doctor you might get this spot a try, you might not... there is A LOT better options in this town. read more

Walked in, my husband and myself, with some kind of viruses. Treated fast, super care. Gave us shots, and scripts.

Yeah 1 star...unfortunately the owner operator hires independent providers. Never know who you are going to be treated by. Generally good providers. No physician oversight. New, inexperienced, nurse practitioners or Physicians Assistants without preceptorship, or oversight. Has many occupational injury patients that really slows down real treatment time. Experienced poor service from office staff and medical staff. Front office staff seemed very rude and inconvenienced that I was there to be seen. The girls were too busy conversating/gossiping instead of taking care of their patients. Finally when I was called to a room, I did not get seen by a doctor, I get seen by a nurse practitioner. He was very awkward and in some ways inappropriate I felt. It was the most uncomfortable clinic visit I have ever had. He was not knowledgeable and was just shooting guesses at me and kept agreeing with me rather than actually trying to figure out what was wrong or to give me relief. Kept making odd comments. I will never be back to this clinic which is a shame since it's close to my residence. The drive to the Bluff to Bay Area urgent care is worth it. I left with no answers, no meds, nothing. Over a week later and I am still suffering. read more

this was the worst experience I've ever had at an urgent care. I go in and the person behind the window has me fill out paperwork and says it will be a few minutes. I look around and there are 2 people ahead of me and I think "wow, I don't have to wait long at all!" After 2 and a half hours and them calling people back who came an hour after me I approach the window and ask when they think I will be seen? They say "it will be a few minutes." They finally get me back and the nurse asks me all the question that were on the forms I filled out again; verbatim. Why do I need to fill out the form I'd you are going to go through it anyways? At this point I am a sweaty mess because if my fever. The nurse shows no concern and says she'll be back shortly to do my vitals. 30 minutes later she come in, she is obviously preoccupied with something other than her job. Very rude! She leaves and says the doctor will be in shortly. I can listen to the doctor and the nurses arguing through the door for an extended period of time. I step out to see if I can use the restroom and the nurses are just playing on their phones. The doctor finally comes in and he is nice and has a good bedside manner, it was just the nurses and the receptionist that left a bad taste in my mouth. If I can avoid them in the future I will. read more

I have been to this location a few times in the past year. You as a customer/patient are treated as an inconvenience to the office staff. I have yet to see a doctor...only newbie nurse practitioners. Forget trying to have a prescription refill authorized by them. This place is a joke! read more

The staff treated me so kindly and the nurse practitioner took his time in inspecting my condition to come to a conclusion. I am so relived to have stopped in because I went to Bay Area quick care before coming here and was treated terribly and given little to no information on my condition. The physician's assistant was arrogant and condescending. Her "diagnosis" was rushed and based on uninformed assumptions after only talking to me for about sixty seconds. The experience was humiliating and insulting. Even a layperson knows better than to make medical decisions this irresponsibly. read more

The worker behind the window was completely apathetic to our needs in what we felt was a life threatening situation. Only a nurse practitioner on hand.
