I needed my nose straightened after an unfortunate experience with a car service driver. Dr. Cole came recommended to me by another ENT Doctor. He was able to fix my deviation and crooked nose and not change my cute round nostrils or the tip of my nose at all. In other words, I don't look "nose jobby"! My nose is still swollen but now, I can breathe better. After-surgery was a breeze with the EXCELLENT team at NYP in Brooklyn. If more people knew of his artistic skills, every girl from the suburbs would be lined up for miles to utilize his skills. The Anesthesiologist did a great job, no pain and minimal swelling afterwards - I didn't need to take any pain killers. A follow up call the next day was the "cherry on top". And this was a same-day appointment. I have Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), and haven't had a bout since 2010. Until early this morning. First, it was a blessing to get a same-day appointment. It was another to have Dr. Chung listen to me thoroughly and offer thoughtful, intelligent insight into all possibilities, and validate my concerns. And he will certainly help me if things haven't improved. Couldn't be better.

I saw…read moreDr. Wayne Chung, MD for my medical conditions that have gotten worse since sinus surgery ; tinnitus, hearing loss, vertigo, migraines, sinus pressure, nasal drip, and facial swelling (which he could see during the appointment). He was very dismissive stating that none of my conditions were as a result of my sinus surgery, He insisted that I had dizziness, and to rule out vertigo he recommended I have a veris brain test. I had never heard of this test before, and I'm not sure that I need this type of test. He asked me if I had ever had an MRI of my brain, I told him that I had, and it was normal. He even questioned me if I knew what vertigo was? I explained the difference between vertigo, and dizziness. I went to his office for ENT, he was talking about brain, and optic nerve test. Today Wednesday 7/1/2026, I spoke to my Neurologist at the Brooklyn VA Hospital, over the phone. I explained what had transpired during my appointment with Dr. Chung, and asked her if I had to take the veris brain test? She had never heard of it before either, so she looked it up. She asked me what's the purpose for the test? I told her that Dr. Chung said it was to rule out vertigo. She said that vertigo was a serious condition, and it's already been documented in my VA medical records. I had told him that, but he was so arrogant, disrespectful, and unprofessional, that he was rolling, and closing his eyes when I was explaining my symptoms to him. He was acting as if he had a problem, or issues himself. I won't be taking the veris brain test, or returning to his ENT Clinic. The VA Neurologist, and I don't think it's necessary. It might just be a way to make more money for the business. Whatever issues Wayne Chung MD, is going through he will be going through them without me as a patient! I don't want anything to do with Wayne Chung, or the clinic he works in. I'll be returning to the Brooklyn, VA, for my ENT follow up appointments. Visited their Dyker Heights location, for the first time in 5 years. Intake was painless. The aid…read more(Sabrina) was very pleasant and accommodating. Dt. Chen was great. He performed the cerumen removal on Mom and made sure she was comfortable and could hear him (she barely could when we arrived). They also performed a comparative hearing test so we could have some documentation for the hearing aid fitting coming up. They also suggested a few services that she may need or want--didn't push anything, just informed her of options available to her. The offices are clean and we did not have to wait long to be seen. Everyone was cordial but professional and very respectful.

He will go through every possible avenue to AVOID surgery and only make the recommendation when there's no other option. I eventually needed surgery for a deviated septum and it was a life changer, i no longer have the chronic illness in my nasal cavity and it even helped eased my snoring a bit. He works out of two locations, one in Bay Ridge and another up the block from Maimonides hospital in Boro Park. Both locations are insanely busy and it's very hard to find parking in the Boro Park location. The staff at the Boro Park location are very friendly and work hard with a mob of people at all times. The waiting room area is small but packed in with seats so it's pretty tight. If you need an ENT Dr. Weiss is one of the best. He performed the surgery himself at Maimonides and will put you at ease through the whole process. The last thing he said to me before i went under in the operating room was "so how about those METS." Great guy, great doctor, great choice.

Nice man. Very subdue, low key and humble. I miss him.

If your symptoms don't align with a specific condition that you are assuming you might have, she will tell you outright that the science and medicine don't back it up. Regarding requests for testing, she approaches them from a practical insurance and business standpoint to determine if a test is truly medically necessary before filing a claim or charging you. If there is a disagreement or a misunderstanding, it certainly isn't coming from a place of ill-will; she is just being direct. The practice itself is on the 3rd floor (there is an elevator available). The front desk staff are pleasant, and the waiting room is spacious, bright, and clean. There is also a restroom available for patients. Booking through their website was seamless. Despite my chaotic schedule, I had to reschedule several times and encountered no issues. They provided a reminder call on Monday for my Tuesday appointment, along with several text and email check-in reminders. About half the questions were related to Covid. After I was finally done I didn't wait long to see the doctor. Once inside I explained to the doctor my issue and he looked in my nose and was about to tell me right away the issue. After suffering for about a month without knowing what was happening I was relieved. The front desk gives you checkout summary before you leaves that explains everything about your visit, medications and when you follow up. Just a side note, parking in the area was challenging.
