This year when our neighbor came to the island he noticed the hedge was cut to lower then the agreed upon height. When he asked Contemporary Landscapes about this they proceeded to accuse us of cutting the hedge ourselves. Not wanting to admit their mistake this company went so far as to go onto our property with the neighbor and 5 of there employees to quote "look for evidence". When we noticed them walking around our property we inquired about what they were doing walking around our lawn and looking in the woods. The neighbor then asked us about the hedge and when we told him in no unconcerned terms we had nothing to do with trimming the hedge Contemporary Landscapes continued to insist it must have been us, instead of just admitting their mistake.

Ok, I really have to brag on the folks at Larchmont. I heard about them from a hardware store,…read moreafter I had gone on a quest to build a fancy outdoor water feeder. Enter Larchmont: you pull up to a quaint house type property, but don't be fooled. You walk in to a very clean and organized facility. This made a huge first impression on me bc I'm not handy by any means, and this was my first DIY project. I had the pleasure of working with Rob and Jeremy. They were genius, and it was clear to me that they know their stuff with regards to all things water / irrigation. They are clever, practical, and patient. Super patient, and good folks. They helped me with this random project... yes, it was related to water but not irrigation. Still, they helped a sister out. I think that when you meet people who are willing to help with the smaller stuff, you can get a pretty good sense of their sense of responsibility with the larger stuff. Thank you, Larchmont!
