I know a bartender here and her name is Casey Close. She is a good person. They served all night even though I'm a complete and total dumbass. I dont like this place because they served me drinks that were bought by other people and then charged me for the drinks also. They had little clue on who was paying for what drinks. Also I'm not a fan of any person and I hate Waco with a passion. Anyway it was fun except I dont like the person who charged me up while people around paid little to nothing and I had drinks bought for me. It should have been less I paid. I am not a fan. We had a couple hours to kill in late afternoon in Waco and wanted a place we could just sit and have a drink. That was surprisingly hard in Waco for some reason. We went to one place that didn't open til 5 and then finally found Dodge City Saloon on Yelp. They have a tiny sign and a door, with no windows. You literally walk in here and it's pitch black with no outside light. Which was awesome given the fact that it was 110 degrees outside. It's obviously a neighborhood bar. The bartender was addressing everyone else by name. But we were made to feel welcome and we hung out for a couple hours and it was nice. Definitely a divey hole in the wall, but I'm not saying that like it's a bad thing. read more

Dive Bar. Complete with stale cigarette smoke smell. With said it was a fun place. We were visiting Waco and looking for a place to have a drink that was not a chain. Found this on a Yelp. Bartenders were friendly as were the patrons. One local came in in a muscle shirt and was quickly told he couldn't stay because dress code required shirt sleeves. It was amazing since this is truly a dive. Good drinks were served! read more
