The hinge on my lap top popped out---been no problem because I leave the lap top open on my desk…read more However, over time the hinge had spread more and this morning I could not plug in the charging cord---the holes would not meet up. Took the lap top into Office Depot, Walton Way Ext, Augusta, GA. Otis was anxious to help me. He said that I would need a replacement part but it was not available in the store. He searched online for a while but had no luck finding the part. He took my contact info and said he would continue searching and would give me a call. About 2 hours later Otis called. Said he could not find the part, but that he had talked with another tech member who thought he might be able to fix my problem. I went back to the store and Rob fixed it!! Took about 10 minutes to unscrew all the screws but after that he was able to put hinge back in place, screw lap top back together and the charge cord plugs right in! I am so happy! Both guys went over and beyond to help me. Thanks for making my day great!!

I walked in expecting to be treated like a paying customer, but instead, I was ignored, followed around the store, and treated with clear suspicion - all because of the color of my skin. It was obvious that certain employees had no interest in helping me and were more focused on watching me than providing any real assistance. When I did ask for help, I was spoken to with attitude and dismissed like my business didn't matter. It was humiliating and frustrating. Office Depot needs to seriously address how their staff treat people of color. Discrimination and poor customer service have no place in any business. I will not be returning and I will be sharing my experience widely.

I took it in on a Tuesday, even though I needed it for some work later in the week. The team at Micro-Computer Plus were able to troubleshoot it within a few hours and order the required parts. They then let me take the computer back so I could complete my work. The part came in late yesterday. I dropped the computer off and they had it repaired and back by this morning. The service was great, the price was good, and their technicians really know their way around the hardware. If you're in Statesboro, and need to repair your electronics, give Micro-Computer Plus a call. You'll be glad you did.
