Let me start by saying that I run a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue and I have spent 20 years in the Veterinary field. I feel I have plenty of experience to provide this review. I brought my two dogs in for baths. The facility was clean, staff caring and space ample, but I definitely expected more. In an ideal world, I'd like to have seen at least nail trimmers. A grinder would have also been useful. The force dryers are excellent quality but they lack the proper nozzles to make it a fast job. I can't help but wonder if this isn't a way to make more money since the customer pays to use their facility for 30 minutes per dog. For a heavily coated dog, this just isn't enough with the nozzle-free force dryers. And you're not going to be getting any loose undercoat out by simply moving warm air over the top of the coat. That said, the tubs are nice and large. Any size dog you bring should fit and entrance to the tub is easy enough for an old, arthritic pooch. read more

Once again DBB has made my furry friend look amazing. Her paws where trimmed perfectly, they again left her feathery front legs in tact, trimmed her coat for the summer, and really kept her her fur look long, but not as bulky. My girl Gemma was happy when we picked her up. I cannot stress how NICE the groomers are at DBB, the way they kneel down and let your dog smell them and get to know them. Watching some of the groomers interact with the dogs they are bathing, they talk to the pups, really make them feel the love that the groomers clearly have for their jobs and the sweet pups I wish more people would take their dogs to Dog Baths and Beyond. They provide an excellent service. read more

I have been using Dog Bath and Beyond for 3 years now for my two fur babies and couldn't be more happy with the service they provide for them. They always do an amazing job getting them clean and smelling wonderful! The nails are trimmed and my dogs husky coat is always shinning when she gets done. I love the bandanas they add at the end for a finishing touch. I will always use this place for cleaning our dogs. The self service baths are also wonderful for quick cleanings when you don't really need to have someone else clean them for you. The tubs are big and the dryers are great to dry my dogs quickly. read more

I inherited a 3 year old lab who had never been to the groomers. I wanted her first experience to be a good one so she would like going back. Alana did a spectacular job! She took her time and made sure our new pup had a great experience. We had her teeth brushed, nails clipped, bath and a de-shed. I would highly recommend this place! read more

My dog loves them but customer service was not their business practice when I checked out today. When I was surprised with a substantial price increase from our prior visits, instead of giving an existing customer a palpable explanation the cashier was frosty and abrupt. Because my dog likes them so much it would only have taken friendliness to retain a customer instead of sending them on a search for a new groomer. read more

We scheduled an appointment to have our Golden groomed. Unfortunately life got in the way and we had to reschedule from a Saturday to the following Friday, my wife made the appointment with me in mind to take in our pup since I am off most Fridays (4-10's schedule). We called well before the typical 24 hours (like most professions request). Received a call late Wednesday night that my group will have to work this Friday and Saturday. My wife called Thursday morning, again prior to 24 hours in advance to reschedule for Sunday. They did do the reschedule but informed us that because of the rescheduling if we rescheduled again we would be put on the "pre pay" list (aka "black list"). I looked over the web site and found no information about rescheduling, fines or fees. We did call prior to 24 hours so that they would be able to fill those slots and not lose business. We were able to get our fur baby into another groomer right down the street and there are 6 other groomers within 5 miles. Apparently they have adequate businesses to "black list" customers. Would not recommend this groomer to my Mother. read more

A worker abused my old dog during a bath. She purposefully dropped the dog into an empty tub from high height when the dog refused to get into the tub. When asked about this, she said, "This is how we get old dogs in the tub." This behavior is totally unacceptable! read more

I can not trim my dogs nails, went there in August 2018, nice gal said that if I brought her back every three weeks, she would get used to techs and have a better experience, I ended up buying a nail trimming card for $40.00 and received 5 trimmings, loved this place. Took her in on Wednesday, new thing $8 trimming on Wednesday, cool. My dog walked right in the store, which was new for her, she is getting used to them doing her nails. Right when I walked in, the lady, don't know name, hadn't seen her before, treated us as new, even tho I mentioned how we have been coming for six months or more, I commented on how my dog went right with the lady. If my dog wasn't difficult to trim, I would do it myself, being a place that deals with dogs, I believed that they are trained on handling dogs with anxiety, we were making progress. When she brought my dog out, the lady was distraught, called her a difficult dog, that she should charge me $10 instead of $8, the thing is, I know she is difficult and leave a tip for the gals. I have been going to them to work out the anxiety of my dog with her nail trimming, now I feel that it was a waste of time. I will no longer go there. I know of a trimming place that will let me hold my dog for them and will return to that shop instead. Too bad they don't have the gal working there that was so kind to me and my dog when we first went to this place. I don't normally write post, but was very upset at the way I and my dog was treated, I even waited a few days, but am still upset that we have wasted over six months of work to get my dog used to this place, that is gone now. Customer service with the new staff needs help. read more
