The boys love outdoor time (their coats make them hot indoors) and are very friendly and sociable. The kennel is ideal for them since they are given plenty of time to roam outdoors and watch the comings and goings. Our youngest boy takes meds for ear complaints, which are administered daily by the team. Since boarding at Beoley Kennels we haven't worried about our boys whilst travelling. A bonus for us.

We just used them again to care for our 2 cats while we went on holiday. Our cats have been going to Broadmarsh since they were kittens, so going on two years now. The staff always greet us and our boys with a smile and hello. They remember our boys by name and get excited to see them, as by their website and facebook page you will see, they love each pet that comes into their care, and the reviews on those pages are glowing as well. Broadmarsh have very clean facilities, and they care for your pet as you would. One of our cats has special dietary needs and they are happy to administer medication and feed him using his special food and instructions. On one visit, our cat needed extra special care and they took exceptional care of him. They were happy to speak with me every day, sometimes a couple of times a day, giving me updates. They are happy to be contacted through Facebook and will gladly post photos of your pet while you are away. I know that we will always use Broadmarsh to board our cats. When we collect them, they are healthy, happy, and very clean. They settle in back home without any problems, and we attribute this to the good care they receive at Broadmarsh.

Top notch cleanliness and all the other cats in the cattery were well looked after, clean, and seemed calm. Our boys started staying at Broadmarsh when they were very young kittens and were cared for just as we would care for them at home with lots of love and attention. Broadmarsh staff are always quick with a smile and cuddle for our boys, and they keep in touch through Facebook to help if you are having pet separation anxiety. I would like to commend them and thank them for the superb care our cats received in April. Unfortunately, one of our boys became very unwell and needed to go to the vet and needed special care and medications. Broadmarsh took care of everything for us until we were able to get back to our poor sickly boy. They did such a good job of keeping us informed and caring for him, and monitoring him. It made a bad situation less stressful knowing that Broadmarsh could and would give top care and treatment. We will always use Broadmarsh cattery for our boys, we couldn't ask for better.

The first day she was late and did a 20min visit and then a 7 min visit late again in the afternoon, they didn't get walked as I said they will refuse if the rain is too heaven, she used that as an excuse not to walk them, yet she turned up on both occasions wearing a tshirt. I also asked why she didn't spend much time with them, we agreed that one of my dogs who is blind was barking a lot but if she knew enough about dogs then she should have spent the time to get to know them and make him feel safe. On the second day she did 25min and a walk then didn't turn up for the afternoon walk. She didn't try to contact me or the emergency contact next of kin and only explained herself after I left her a voicemail and text was at 8pm. When she go back to me she said she had a death and has been trying to contact me. She said That I didn't have signal and I had signal, nothing was left, neither did my partner. Once questioned about it further she said she had no time to get cover with my dogs special needs? She still should have rung us. So please make sure she is doing what you are paying her to do. That first day was 13hours with just 30 mins spent with them. And the second 25mins one coveting in 10hours. My girl had just turned 10 the day before and had become incontinent and wet herself on both days. This is animal cruelty and I shall be reporting her to the rspca and NarpsUK who is the association of dog walkers. I just wanted to make sure others that use her know she cares not for your dogs.

The "alternative" was flashy, new, modern and eerily devoid of woofs, but my dogs were returned to me in a dreadful state. I have always gone to Bungalow Farm, and not once have I returned from holiday feeling guilty that I had place them there. The ladies are lovely, and took the time to address my worries. The dogs have walks out and playtime and cuddles, they are kept clean and tidy, and always seem happy and content going in , and when being picked up. The Lady who runs Bungalow Farm spent years as a veterinary nurse, which helped put my mind at rest. Please support these kennels! They may look a little "rough and ready" but the care my boys have there is brilliant ! I will always book well in advance to avoid having to go anywhere else !!

When I returned to collect the Dogs they were exhausted, down trodden and looked unwell. When the Staff at the Kennels demonstrated what they had achieved during "training" it became clear why. Karenswood's idea of Dog Training is that you "stamp" on the lead of the Dog to get it to sit. It was farcicle to watch. I stopped them from "trying to demonstrate" what they had achieved in the end as I was worried about my dog's well being. During the course of my following discussions with the chap who had spent three weeks "training" my Dog I was also shocked to establish that he didn't actually know the name of my Dog! When I put this to the Director of the Kennels later she told me that it wasn't actually necessary to know the name of a Dog to train it - even if you were spending three weeks with it. This sums up Karenswood International very succinctly. Best avoided in my opinion. I did finally get a little of my money back once I had involved Birmingham Trading Standards and sought their advice as to how to proceed. I would advise that people avoid Karenswood International entirely.
