The clinic has changed locations since this listing was created but if you click on the website it…read morewill show you the correct address. I have only good things to say about my visit yesterday. My 4yr old nearly died the day prior due to complications due to pancreatitis. He had to be hospitalized for stabilization and I picked him up from the hospital the following morning in stable condition but with directions to have him seen for follow up that day. I called every office between Buffalo and Eire and absolutely no one would see us. Ever the urgent cares turned us away due to being understaffed and overbooked. No one cared that he nearly died the night before. After over 6 hours of calling around I called The Animal Clinic. The staff member listened to my story like everyone else, told me the were booked solid like everyone else, and then created an appointment for us within an hour and a half of my calling so that the Dr could see us as soon as he got out of his current surgery. The staff was super kind. They recognized my story as soon as I gave my name. We were seen within minutes of arrival. The Dr seemed very knowledgeable and only ordered the labs we really needed so that the bill would be as affordable as possible. Staff followed up the following day, today, and were very kind and helpful. This clinic is an hour away from my home but will now be our permanent family Dr after the amazing service we got there this week!!!!

I can't express how happy I am that we found KW Animal Chiropractic. We have two Holland Lop…read morebunnies with spondylosis. Vets only prescribe meds, but we all know this just masks the symptoms instead of correcting any problems. The female lop also has a leg that got hurt when she was younger. For months, they have both been taking pain meds twice a day. I read about chiropractic for rabbits on a forum and started looking for a chiropractor for the buns. For some reason, this clinic didn't come up, but I found an animal chiropractor in Toronto. He found Dr. Lauren Pruner for me and I just took my two little lops to her last week. Both got gentle adjustments, and I could see more mobility in both of the rabbits immediately. Butters, our male, can now clean himself better. He was having some hind leg weakness, but he can definitely get around better now. Beckett's leg moves so much better after just one appointment, and I can tell she can move much better. In the meantime, our bigger girl, Pepper, did something to her left foot. She was limping and holding it off the ground. She is almost nine and had trouble with head tilt, which caused its own mobility issues. She has gotten better, but I knew an adjustment could only help. I took her today, and like the other two, she showed immediate improvement. She can move around much better and her leg is held in a more natural position. The doctor even showed me a stretch we can do daily at home. All three rabbits go back in March, and I can't wait to see them continue to improve! Dr. Pruner is wonderful with animals. She is so nice and I could tell she loves furbabies. She is very patient and gives them an opportunity to rest between adjustments. The rabbits were very comfortable with her and Butters, especially, became putty in her hands. She even gave me a discount for multiple rabbits. Her personality is sweet and pleasant. If you want to see improvement in your furbabies if they are having issues and want to do more than cover up the problem with drugs, please, go see Dr. Pruner. The improvement in your babies will warm your heart. Highly recommend!

Do not, under any circumstances, take your animal to this clinic. We have an 8-year old German…read moreShephard, who had cruciate ligament surgery four weeks ago. We took him in for rehab four weeks post-surgery. The vet & owner ignored our warning that our dog was afraid and had bitten the past rehab vet, six years ago for surgery on his other knee. That rehab was excellent; unfortunately, we have since moved. Our dog was shaking and terrified at the vet's touch, but she didn't seem concerned, so I naturally deferred to her. But when she touched his area of surgery, he bit her cheek. She assured us she was fine and proceeded to charge us $779.00 for ten future appointments. The vet then posted an extreme close-up pic of herself on Facebook, reprimanding and shaming us as the owners for not using a muzzle. She did not say our name, but it was clearly about that incident, as the pic was posted within four hours of our visit. A war broke out on her FB, many stating that it was her fault, and her conduct (plastering this all over FB) was extremely unprofessional. As a vet, she should have known to suggest a muzzle, should not have stuck her face in the dog's face, knew he was (by her admission) in pain from recent surgery, and ignored his fearful body language. She left out all the essential facts, preferring to play the victim role instead, and taking none of the responsibility herself. Meanwhile, we were still clients! They gladly took our money and had scheduled us in for ten future visits all after the bite occurred. When you work in the industry, you must take the necessary precautions. Work in construction? Wear safety gear. Fireman? The same. Work with animals? Know what you are doing. I canceled my future appointments and had to fight with them to get my money back. At no time did I ever say I would not use a muzzle for my dog, which is their claim now. I only said that he did not require one in the waiting room. They are also claiming that I harassed them. I had to request four times for a refund of my money and was advised by Visa to put my request in writing, and they would credit my account if the vet did not. Please, if you are reading this, and you care at all about your pet, go to another clinic with more experience, to a vet who understands an animal's body language and knows how to work with them. I have been dealing with veterinarians for years, and have always fostered an excellent rapport with them. I have owned dogs, cats, and parrots for more than 30 years and never, never have I had an issue. These people at Gilmour Road lack knowledge, experience, and the necessary professionalism required to make the experience a safe and positive one for both you and your dog. I would not take a cockroach to this place.
