Only been here for their famous root beer floats. They are creamy sweet draft style root beer like the olden times. The place looks run down but the service is still good and the floats but the spot when you need a lift. Not sure why they still use styrofoam though for to go drinks. read more

Dog N' Suds is a good fast food place, with a retro 60's and 70's vibe and a nice family drive in. My husband and son went to get a quick corn dog and a milkshake. The corn dog was hot and good, not unlike any other fast food corn dog. My only complaint was the shake, but the shake wasn't the problem. The straw was soft, and practically impossible to get an actual amount of ice cream up the straw, but the boys were crafty, and decided to use it like a spoon and drink it the opposite way after opening up the lid. All in all, a good stop. read more

It's been in Paragould forever, and is still serving great food. You can still drive up to the order boxes outside and be served in your car, or you can sit inside and get full service at the table. The parking lot is small and crowded if you don't park at an order box. I had the house root beer. Let me tell you. I grew up where Barq's was created. This root beer is better. The hamburger had a toasted bun, was juicy, hand pressed and delicious. I had a chili cheese dog with custard and onion that was descent. I also ordered Salvadoran pupusas of various flavors. I was not a fan of those. They are a pancake like creation filled with cheese and other items. The bill was great. I love the root beer here. I just wish you could order it in bottles to take home. I did though get to buy a mug. It's a great throw back experience. Try it, you won't be disappointed. read more

A couple times a year, I drive an hour to eat Dog n Suds. I've done that since the 90's. My favorite is a chocolate chip malt cyclone! Chili dogs, skinny fries, special sauce on the burgers, and all kinds of fried goodies. The ownership hasn't changed the quality of the food, and they also have some REALLY good little things called Pastels that are like tamales with different fillings. The prices are reasonable. It's an older drive in joint. The root beer & chili sauce fir the dogs isn't what it used to be. I long for the day I can have a dog n suds coney dog with their orginal sweet chili sauce they are know for, but this place uses what tastes like canned chili. I have had their fried mushrooms which were fantastic! Thus is a great place for a working fast lunch break. read more

Wow. Where do I start?! This little gem of a "fast food" place is to die for! Man, this place makes a mean chili cheese coney, burger, and fries! They also have added some Salvadorian foods to the menu. I've had the pupusas and the pasteles. Both are fantastic! They come with a red sauce and an awestome take on slaw. I just absolute love it! I still can't stay away from the coney's, burgers, and frito chili pies! I mean how can you say no to a double cheeseburger, fries, and a root beer for $3.50?! And the root beer in a frosted mug! Yummm! It's like I'm going back in time for a bit, while I'm in there. The prices should have been raised in the 90's but I'm definitely not complaining! Their prices are amazingly cheap! It is a very tiny, ancient, rundown place but the food is good and the people are very nice. Saturdays at lunch this place is PACKED so expect to wait a little bit since there is very little seating. I love their burgers and fries and banana milkshakes are the best. I tried one of the Salvadorian pork papusas with vinegar slaw, too, and it was really good. I gotta try it again next time! read more

Don't like it. The burgers come straight from a freezer and they are small. The restaurant is just nasty.

Dog n Suds hasn't changed what they used to be, and that's a good thing. The menu is what you'd expect, charbroiled burgers, chicken strips, fries, tots,etc ... Think Sonic before they decided to start carrying all the extra fillers. Double cheese Burger, fries, and a drink for 3.50$ can't be beat, and it's actually good. I recommend the burgers, spicy fries, root beer (in a frosted mug) , and fudge cake sundae. Only complaint is the building is pretty run down, but the waitresses are friendly, and the drive in speakers work well considering their age. read more

Dog N Suds is old school good burgers. Reminds of the old A&W drive ins I used to eat at as a kid in the midwest. Simple burgers that are pretty good. Nothing fancy, and it's easy on the wallet. Beats the other chains in town hands down. I prefer the Hamburger Station better, but YMMV. read more

This is nostalgic for me. My mother took me to a Dog n Suds when I was a small kid in Illinois in late 60's. Very similar. Still has the old box speakers like a drive in used to. Food is good and cheap. My wife and I had the cheeseburger special which was a double patty cheeseburger, fries, and a drink for $4. Patties are tiny but the flavor is there.
