Don David has been the best dog walker I've ever dealt with, his prices are more than fair and my puppy is totally pooped once he returns home after romping with other dogs and going on hikes. I'm pretty sure my dog has a better day than I do every time Don David takes him out. Don David keeps me updated with photos during their walks and makes sure he gets enough shade/water during the hot days. He is a genuinely sweet person and extremely easy to communicate with. I absolutely trust him with my dog and am so grateful to have found him. I now have Don David take my dog four days a week :) Oatie waits for him at the door every morning. What can I say about Don David? He is kind, loves animals and nature, an excellent communicator and he's a professional. I am Don David's biggest fan! He is a fabulous dog walker as he provides excellent care for my Shih Tzu on group walks. He takes the dogs on hikes and never unloads the dogs in a dog park for an hour. My small dog is in tip top shape from all his exercise. The socialization he provides for the dogs is excellent. Depending on the day he has small dog groups or a great mix of various sizes. I don't even know where to begin! Don David stayed with Ranger when I went out of town for 4 days. Ranger loved him so much that after I got home, the next morning he raced downstairs and scratched on the guest room door and was visibly sad when he realized that Don David was gone! Don did an awesome - truly remarkable - job watching my dog, Addie. We were on a longer-than-usual vacation and I didn't want to put that task on a non-pro. I hired Don David to take my Sophie on social walks/hikes twice a week. Before the first visit Don came over to meet Sophie and discuss her background, and any training issues that he could help with. I wanted her to have some off leash time and to get used to being around other dogs, as she was not well socialized (she's a rescue). I could tell after Sophie being with him for a few sessions, that she was better with her boundaries and leash issues. He's a natural with dogs. He would take Sophie and her pack on hikes all over the area, and would send texts and pictures of their joyful romps. I particularly loved to see them swimming during hot summer day, which Sophie loves to do! Don was great! Couldn't of asked for a better dog sitter. He just has a great aura about him. Super nice, friendly and understanding. Our dog, Moose, (maltese/yorkie mix) stayed with him for a week while we were on vacation. Don David is amazing!! He has been walking our three year old terrier mutt, Mrs. Chips, for close to a year now and she's never had it so good! Don is reliable, great with all types of dogs and people!! (which isn't true of all dog-walkers.) He always has something positive to say when he greets us and pays careful attention to Mrs. Chips and the pack of pooches he takes on his daily hikes throughout the Marin trails. Don David is great. We are really particular about who takes care of our terrier mix, Cooper. Don is friendly and open, and clearly loves dogs. We hired him to walk Coops three days one week, in the afternoon, when my husband was out of town and work had me making a very time-consuming commute. Don would leave these wonderful and funny little notes for us, just to let us know how Cooper's walk had been and what he had been up to. He would also communicate via text to let us know how the walk was going and how he was getting along with the other dogs. Since his walks went so well, we asked Don to dog sit him when we had to take a week out of town. Again, it went well and he kept us updated on how Coops was doing without us.
