I was suuuper nervous about using this service for Alma because she's only 9lbs and she's a rescue so scared of her own shadow. Stephanie and her team were awesome - they took great care of her, sent me pics throughout the day, kept her on a leash until she was ready. Overall this has helped Alam build so much confidence, come out of her shell and be a stronger more confident dog and live her best life!

Stephanie is a dog whisperer! The way she commands the attention of so many dogs at once is so impressive. My puppy Byron LOVES going to her house and going on beach hikes! He has made so many dog friends and has learned how to be loving to dogs of all ages and sizes. I would highly recommend doggie adventures for anyone who wants their dog to be ahead of the pack when it comes to socialization and just overall amazing temperament. I have gotten sooooo many compliments about how well behaved my puppy is and I owe a good portion of that to Stephanie and her team. Stephanie has been flexible working with my schedule and I feel so blessed to have her in mine and Byron's life!

There are not enough good things I can say about Stephanie and "Doggie Adventures"! Stephanie has been incredibly accommodating and patient with our husky Lilo. Lilo initially was wary of other dogs because of previous circumstances, but Stephanie was able to turn her around! Lilo now looks forward to going to the beach with all her doggie friends every week! She comes home tired and happy, which makes us very happy! Stephanie consistently has great communication with the owners and always makes sure to text us a picture/video of Lilo having fun, which we greatly appreciate. We tagged along one day just for fun and also really appreciated how Stephanie, Shelly, Walter, and Rhonda, knew each and every dog's names, personalities, and tendencies. They really care about the dogs they walk and are super attentive! Your dog could not be in better hands! Thank you to Stephanie, staff, and "Doggie Adventures"! *All photos taken curtesy of Stephanie*

My dog has been to many daycares and has had a couple complaints about humping or bothering other dogs. (he has been neutered since a puppy and has that dopey playful like puppy brain even as an adult). But they have never complained about him or told me he was bothering others dogs etc... He gets so excited when we get a few blocks away because he knows he is going to Woofs and Wiggles. Drop off is convenient, easy, and walk in welcome ! I love that we don't have to schedule for daycare as I live a busy not set schedule work life so I usually don't plan daycare days in advance like others can. In addition Johnny is always so welcoming and they feed my dog his breakfast/lunch and tell me that he eats it too. I also love that they spray the floors when dogs go potty (most places just mop which just spreads the potty around). Thank you Woofs and Wiggles for being such a safe, fun , and reliable place for my pup!!

We were evaluating a new doggie daycare provider and came across Andy's Boarding Place. Upon contacting him, Kevin walked me through his thorough evaluation process to ensure that our dog would be a great fit for this place. He wanted to make sure our dog was comfortable as well as the other dogs that were already boarding there. Since our dog is super social, he had no issue with passing the eval and we were able to get him set up with daycare right away. You will do a 1/2 day of daycare first before you can start leaving your pooch here all day or doing a boarding session. Kevin's prices are very reasonable and he is very responsive via both text and email. We get plenty of pictures of our dog throughout the day and whenever we have a daycare/boarding need, we can just email him and he is very accommodating with our schedule and our needs. Kevin makes sure that our dog never gets any food that is not approved by us and will feed the dogs at scheduled times, separately. For boarding, the dogs get to cozy up directly on a human bed, which makes them feel like they are at home.

We were looking for a facility and caretaker that particularly screens each dog, maintains a controlled "home-like" environment with open play and was accommodating to dietary/health/general needs. The screening process was strict but with good foundations, our dog passed with flying colors, and it's nice knowing the rest of the boarding family has done the same. Funny enough, Shinji was so attached to Kevin that he chose him as his human pillow during his initial overnight trial and that's when I knew he found his new "buddy and happy place away from home". Now he recognizes the drive and arrives with cries and wags even months between visits. Shibas come with great quirks though, and it was a blessing that Kevin welcomed ours with no judgment. Shinji is very play-driven and uniquely has a silly preference for doodle and herding dogs, and there is no shortage of those among a diverse range of family dogs in Kevin's boarding family. Kevin operates independently and it amazes us how open he is with communication and concerns while caring for his boarding groups at the same time. We get many videos and texts while we are away, and we are always confident that our dog is in great hands.

I reached out to Hailey after a positive referral. During our initial visit, she was very professional and helpful, and the facility seemed well run. We ultimately chose a home-based daycare for our 6-month-old puppy and canceled well in advance. In October 2025, I paid a $855 deposit via Zelle to reserve boarding and requested a refund after canceling. After multiple follow-ups, I was told the refund would be processed. I was later informed that the refund had been sent to the wrong person and would be corrected, with a commitment that it would be completed by February 18, 2026. Unfortunately, I never received it, and there has been no resolution since. I've attempted to follow up via phone (calls are no longer being accepted), WhatsApp (messages are read but not responded to), and email, but have not received any response. At this point, I am still waiting on the refund and have had to pursue formal channels to resolve this. I hope this can be resolved promptly.

The first year with my golden retriever, Luka, was extremely hard. He was a mouthy dog who had zero boundaries at home or outside. He would get excited or frustrated and grab/bite onto my shoes or clothes daily. Walking him became an impossible task because he was extremely dog-reactive, and he dragged me a couple of times while trying to chase another dog. Walking him also became a two-person job, with someone always on the lookout for other dogs so we could turn the other way. He also began to resource guard and snapped at my dad twice.. I had already spent thousands on another trainer and didn't have much success. I began to feel like this was just what life with Luka would be like forever. It got to the point where I felt scared of him, and the life I was giving him out of that fear wasn't fair to him. So I decided to try and get help one last time. I found Lori's page and after reading the reviews I became hopeful again. I took Luka in for an evaluation, and Lori recommended their board-and-train program. I can't thank Chelsea and Lori enough for everything they've done. I've learned so much about Luka, how to manage different situations, and how to better understand his behavior. We had training lessons throughout his board-and-train stay and afterward, because we are the ones who need most of the training! Chelsea did an amazing job with Luka. At home, Luka is unrecognizable in the best way. We can actually go on adventures outside without being terrified that we won't be able to handle him. Those who knew Luka before his stay and see him now always comment on how well he is doing. I cannot recommend Lori Hamilton's Dog training enough to anyone who feels like they've tried everything and is feeling discouraged. I am so thankful because it finally feels like Luka and I can start living life and enjoying everything around us.

He was an anxious, leash pulling, cat chasing, chewing, biting and jumping-- hiding inside an adorable shell. We started in Lori's group class, then did private one on one training with her and ultimately 4 weeks of board and train at her facility. She trained us and trained him and ultimately transformed life at home. Our 3 cats are now able to be in the same room as him. Our visitors no longer have him standing up on their chest in exuberant greeting. We can relax and have dinner without Ruben trying to eat our feet or running zoomies around the room. We can walk him without having our arms ripped out of our sockets. He is calm around other dogs. He is crate trained and easily goes to sleep at night. He has his own treadmill and works out twice a day, in addition to our daily walks. We been to Pack walks with Lori and 15 other dogs, all walking obediently through the Pruneyard shopping center. The dogs get to work on socialization and good manners on these field trips. Lori came to our house and we staged a meal with a visitor. It really helped us learn how to keep him on his best behavior during meal time with a guest!!! Our first year with Ruben was really tough, he was not the mellow golden retriever we anticipated. Lori's teaching changed everything. She provided the methods and the tools to help us have the best outcome and a relaxed home life with our beautiful dog; more than we ever expected!!!

However, Ashley's screening process -not just with my dogs, but the dogs he would be staying with - ensured he was in a safe and healthy environment while we were gone. She goes through multiple steps to ensure that dogs aren't just physically, but also emotionally, safe while their owners are gone. As Radley has some anxiety issues, Ashley worked with us to prepare him for any potential issues he may have - which thankfully he didn't! If you want your dogs to be cared for, played with and honestly loved while you are away, Ashley should be your go to. I don't trust my dog with just anyone and the relief I felt each day with the pictures and updates allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation. This is a great business with an individual who is knowledgeable about dogs and provides a safe haven for traveling owners to leave their pets. Will definitely use Ashley again!!!

Just the facts. Our…read morepup is 8 months old. Our plans were to travel abroad for 2 weeks. What to do? We considered boarding w/ established kennels, but wanted something more personal, bespoke. Among others, we were referred to Ashley Scontriano. We paid Ashley for numerous pre-trip visits, a few hours each, to acclimatize our pup, and allow Ashley to determine if he'd be a good fit. We valued her opinion and trusted her judgement. We received the thumbs up, with less than a week to go before our trip. Ashley agreed to care for our pup while we were out of the country. What a relief! We dropped our pup with Ashley, the morning of our departure, excited for our vacation. Less than 24 hours later, already 2k miles away, we received a text from Ashley which began "Please think of a plan B..." A plan B?? We had cancelled our plan B when Ashley gave us the green-light, prior to departing. The message continued, and I paraphrase, that our pup kept her up all night, crying, and she just couldn't take it. She didn't see that coming? Separation anxiety from a puppy, the first night away. She's a "dog professional?" What to do?! We'd cancelled our plan B, and wouldn't ask friends to take on a puppy for 2 weeks. Thankfully, Ashley had a possible solution -- we could pay her $200/day for "doggy boot camp!" HA! And I wonder how often that has worked with other clients -- too busy, too wealthy to say no? We called Beds & Biscuits. Fortunately, as our initial plan A, we'd completed the pre-reqs and they were able to accommodate our puppy. Glowing progress reports, too, from his stay with them -- yes, a needy puppy, craving attention and love, something they provided him. Something we thought Ashley had agreed to provide him. Instead, she wanted more money, after agreeing to watch him, and proposed drugging him to "better manage his anxiety." And so, after spending $$$ on Ashley's pre-trip evaluations, delivering our puppy into her care, and flying 2k miles away, Ashley reversed course, bailed...his "separation anxiety" (one night in) was too much, but it wouldn't be too much if we'd pay her $200/day? No thanks. And now she's demanding $130 more for the day/night she "cared for" our puppy. Ashley has said that WE didn't do enough before departing -- that the time at her home was insufficient, that she was "set up to fail." As a "dog professional," wasn't this something she should have, could have flagged BEFORE we departed? She didn't -- she assured us our pup would be well cared for, that he was settling in just fine. And then we departed, flew 2k miles, and without a conversation texts us "Please think of a plan B..." Incredibly unprofessional. Lacking completely in scruples and integrity. Further -- if you care at all about who you're entrusting your dog to, the quality of the human being -- who you're giving your money to -- then please do what we should have done, prior to this whole mess. Google Ashley Scontriano. https://goodtimes.sc/santa-cruz-news/news/nuz-pro-tip-dont-defend-racism-social-media/ https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2018/11/03/18818730.php
