I can't say enough about this establishment, the staff is so nice, the owner is so polite and patient. My card had an issue and he was kind enough to wait until I called my bank, also I was told my new puppy cavapoo was a little matted under the belly and before they just shaved or trimmed him, they called me to inform me first. I noticed how the other fur babies were happy and how the place was so clean and the groomers were sweet and friendly and gentle with our babies. It doesn't smell and you could see your pups grooming area and waiting areas which were clean as well. Used Doggie Depot for the first time over the weekend, firstly,they were extremely accommodating with scheduling. In the past we used mobile dog spas a lot because of the convenience, but after the last experience ( they shaved our dog) we decided to try something new, we heard great things about doggie depot through our neighbors so decided to give them a try and glad we did! I don't understand the poor reviews here. We brought our dog here and the staff was very nice and knowledgeable. They seemed to want to take the time to get to know our dog instead of just throwing him in a crate. He came out with a nice haircut and smelling clean and fresh. He is usually a nervous dog after being left places but he seemed much more relaxed coming out of here than he did coming out of his previous groomer where he was going for over ten years. read more

I have a 10 year old 10 pound Yorkie who's hair grows at a rapid speed! I'm new to the Stamford area and decided to give Doogy Depot a try. I'm very happy I did! Marie was very helpful and gentle with my dog. She took the time to get to know him before gently putting him into a crate until she was ready to groom him. He's a very nervous dog and after picking him up I could tell he was at ease. He's usually very itchy after a haircut and this is the first time he isn't. He has sensitive skin. $60 for a wash, cut and nail trim.Can't beat that! 24 hours later and he still smells great! I would recommend taking your dog here. read more

I was EXTEMELY satisfied with Doggie Depot's services!! Every interaction with them (from the first phone call to setting up the appointment to picking up my dog from them) was not only pleasant but very professional, detailed and very accommodating. My havanese got a bath, nails clipped and was groomed (they gave me exactly what I asked for; best cut my dog has ever had; and she's 5years old!) It took me some time to find a new groomer (old one moved) that I could trust my dog with again and I definitely found a loving and caring one at Doggie Depot! I found their prices reasonable and loved the fact that they are a family owned business. They were so great! My dog loved them and was not hesitant to go back to them as I asked them to trim so more hair from my dogs face.

We have been bringing both of our dogs there (Black Lab and Cavalier King Charles) for about a year now. They always come home clean and smelling great. 5 stars! really? I brought my terrier mix there for the first and only time. He come out with a haircut that was not what i wanted. I brought him back and asked for some kind of adjustment. The side of his face was cut so short and the other side so long. there was no way this was acceptable or fixable. So now we are waiting for this whole mess to grow out before we can do anything about it. Going here.......big mistake. I regret that I have to give this place even one star. read more
