As a small business person myself, I was impressed by her willingness to give up business in order to stay true to her principles. As sad as it is, I am left with the memory of the kind and caring way I and my kitty were treated through the years and especially on this last day. Dr. Sam, Dr. Rebecca, and their staff made the hardest decision easier to take, and now for me to live with. Very compassionate people. For them, this is a calling. At 77, I think I may not rescue another kitty but If one should find me, as has often happenned in my life, I will continue to use Westport Animal Hospital to care for my rescue. One other thing, in all the times I have boarded my cat she has always come home completely healthy, with no coughs or other issues. I love the fact that this facility is in an old house with a porch and an upstairs which I believe someone lives in because the boarded animals are not alone after hours.
