We highly recommend this business. Just recently, we rescued a maltese mix from a local shelter. Being a stray, it goes without saying that he was very matted and dirty. Once we got him home, it didn't take long for us to call Dogs Etc to schedule an appointment. Our two other dogs, a golden lab and flat coat retriever mix also were due for a groom so we scheduled everyone together. Dogs Etc is very conveniently located. Priscilla was the groomer up to the task of making the dogs look great. When we walked in later in the day to pickup our dogs, I hardly recognized the new dog. What a transformation! She really did a terrific job with all the dogs. We really appreciate her skills and attn to detail when working her magic. I've been coming here for years. I love their work, but they have the worst turnover, which makes pricing really inconsistent. I have dogs with heavy coats who need specialty groomers that truly know what they're doing. On my last visit, the price for my 70/80-Ib dog jumped from $150 to a little over $400. Not only did the price keep increasing before I even picked him up, but the grooming itself wasn't done well. I tracked down my old groomer afterward, and she told me his nails were still long, he had a large matted knot behind his ear, and the nail on his heel was curled. So the job wasn't just overpriced it was poorly done. I've had great groomers here in the past. They use quality shampoo, the facility is clean, and everyone is nice. But Dogs Etc. has lost so many of their best groomers, and those groomers were the people who could have made this business truly exceptional. I won't be going back unfortunately. Also I always gave great tips! Love my groomers!! My update Yes it was absolutely here DOGs ETC. and I've been going there for at least a decade if not more. Like I said your shop is amazing but you have lost (or the past owners) many many good groomers but this last one was insane. i want to start off by stating that i'm not writing this with any malicious intent or expect to receive anything out of this, but rather i'm writing this to hopefully save any other animals from being hurt. my dog alfie has been groomed here two times. the first time, there were no complaints. this most recent time, however, has caused us to never go back to dogs etc. again. alfie had a full groom appointment on monday 08/03 before our family went on a out of state roadtrip. my partner took him in and picked him up while i was at work. when i came home and took a look at him, he had clearly been cut on his private part. the cut was in a straight line, clearly from a razor. neither me nor my partner who picked alfie up was told about any incident or injury. we monitored alfie for the night as well as the next two days as we traveled on our trip. it was a deep enough cut to cause him irritation and itching, as we had to keep him from trying to lick the wound. I called dogs etc. on the thursday morning of that week when we finally had a chance to discuss the matter, 08/06, and was left completely confused and baffled. i initially called because i wanted to know if they had any recommendations for a cream or ointment they would recommend since it was still itching him. the receptionist proceeded to tell me that it is standard policy to note the injury and let owners know of any incidents that happen. when i told her we had not been informed, she proceeded to tell me that nothing was written in the notes, she trusts the groomer that alfie had, and that if anything happened they would have known and told us. clearly, this is not what happened. from there she continued to try to make excuses, stating razor burn was a possibility "just like when us woman shave our bikini lines." yes, that's a direct quote she said. besides the obviously inappropriate comparison, it was also completely wrong which i told her. she asked for photo proof, which i happily provided, then had the audacity to ask why it took us this long to call if it actually happened? she was clearly trying to shift the blame to us. at the end of all this, the receptionist told me that the owner was out of town, and would be back on the following sunday and she would get back to me then but if not, to contact them again. it has since been two weeks and they have not contacted me. since i have already decided that alfie will not be returning, i am not interested in fighting this matter. i am simply letting others know about our experience and warn others to exercise caution with where you leave your loved pets. read more

Dogs Etc is absolutely amazing!! First off the receptionist Mandy is ALWAYS so friendly and caring. Every time I've gone in she always looks so happy and is all about her customers which i love and she really cares about the dogs. Now for my groomers, these ladies are literally the best. Saray is a miracle worker and she works so hard and it shows in her work. My dog Kaia had a lot of matting and she's a husky and she took her double coat and totally transformed her from looking like she had been on the streets the last 2.5 months into a soft fluffy little princess! Priscilla was my groomer for my other fur baby JoJo and she was absolutely great! I love how she put her own little twist to making JoJo look like a little baddie! She did Ombré colors with the pet friendly dye on my dogs tails and it came out so unbelievably CUTE! Both of these ladies are amazing at cutting and styling dogs and you can tell they love what they do and really care and work as a team over there. My friends and I have been to a few places to get our dogs nails clipped and we have found Dogs Etc. to be the best. My friends usually are the ones that take the dogs in, however, this time I took both dogs for the nail clipping service. I found all the staff to be wonderful!! I was greeted by the young friendly receptionist, didn't get her name. The groomer, Kenna, was just amazing. She was very gentle and kind with both dogs. She appeared professional and very experienced. I certainly recommend her. We always make an appointment, however, for nail trimming they do accept walk-ins. They can get pretty busy but we've never had to wait long. This is a great place to take your dog for grooming services. They also groom cats, as well, and their prices are reasonable. read more

I've been a long time customer as you may see from my previous review, but I am pretty disappointed with the new management. I was quoted $90 for a 10lb Yorkie who was matted. $8 for anal expression. My dog was done at 12:40pm. I work from home and had a meeting until 1:30 and a dentist appointment at 2pm, so I called to let them know I will pick up my dog at 3pm. I arrive at 3:20 and the owners wanted to charge me an extra $18. The place still had plenty of dogs left and it's not like they were closed and only waiting on me. These groomers are now price gouching. It's ridiculous. I used to pay $50. In the last couple of years the price increased by 80%. WOW!!! It's very interesting how Fay P, the arrogant owner of this dirty facility which I've reported already for their unsanitary work ethics barks back that I've left other negative reviews for other establishments. She came at me with guns boxing instead of hey I'm so sorry, I heard you left unhappy.... What's going on and how can I help? Normal business owner reaction and I would have been happy that I was heard and she would actually do something so it doesn't get repeated but no....Faye has to come back guns blazing because she's so shrewd and greedy as well egotistical that she will not take accountability even when she wasn't present to see what actually was going on. She was upset why I didn't want to discuss the situation with the actual Groomer Danielle....ummmm because she is incompetent since I had a 10 min conversation going over everything with her as she was supposedly writing it all down then I was forced to also fill out so many forms and supply vet certificates only to give the worst grooming experience I have ever had in my life. Also.....please do your due diligence and read the other bad reviews and you will see that she has a pattern of doing treatments and cuts against the owners wishes and again taking no accountability. She lies that she's been at this business since 1987.... She bought this from the original owner a few years ago and frankly driving it to the ground.
