After a crazy horse show in Paris we decided to look for a location to grab a drink late night. Thankfully this location was open until 5am so it was the perfect go to place for us - no to mention they had hookah. Once we arrived we entered a curtain which opened to the front bar and a few tables. Once we mentioned we wanted to order a hookah we were taken to another room in which we were able to order it. We also order a bottle of Moet which was a bit hard to do since they insisted on selling us something else which was even more. Came in late on a Friday night to find this place pretty happening. Not sure if we weren't dressed up enough (as a lot of people were) but they did send us to the back room lol My friend and I got one hookah and each got a Mai Thai. The drinks are suuper sugary, but that's never a problem for me. The hookah was decent, but they use the insta-light charcoal, which I'm not too big a fan of. We did meet a fun group of guys there and the environment definitely leads to making friends and dancing so that was good. I do think the waiters could be more attentive, but that might be because we were in the back so we weren't top of mind. They were super nice though, which is good. I was a bit skeptical when a friend brought me here to catch the finals of the EuroCopa. After all, this was a huge game and I wanted to watch my beloved Spain win in the best atmosphere possible. I put my trust in her judgment and after a few short minutes at Le Futur Dogstar, I was put at peace. The main area was packed with younger people wanting to watch the game on their big screen, while others just wanting to eat were off in the smaller side rooms. From the get-go, each server was very attentive and took our drink and food orders right when we were ready. Sure, you may not want to eat burgers, pizza and pasta in Paris, but if you do, this is the place. I was really impressed by our ham and mushroom pizza and salad while my company loved their creamy pasta and burgers. Word to the wise- the portions here are HUGE. Unless you are getting a burger, I think any dish is easily split between two people. They had some beer on tap which was nice to sip on while watching Spain crush Italy. I alsoI tried the apple mojito which was so delicious. Overall, it's a cool atmosphere for almost any occasion. A bit of the Parisian beaten path but worth the change. read more

Such a funny place. On a Tuesday night in Paris, we were looking to find SOMETHING a little fun, and kept running into closed bars (don't trust the hours listed on yelp/internet!!!!). Ended up here after seeing their "pub" sign, and had a blast. They have a divide between the hookah-smoking side, and then more of a "club" side - complete with poles on top of the bars. The drinks were too sweet for my taste, but they were very amenable towards putting more alcohol in my second drink. All the drinks came with marshmellows on the straws - no idea why? but it was fun. Not bad prices considering we were right next to the Champs Elysee. Even on a Tuesday night with a mellow-seeming crowd, there was BUMPING EDM/Hip-Hop/Dance-able music, and a fog machine that spouted off every 30 minutes our so. They were open til 4 am on a Tuesday. Great people watching with a very diverse mix of people/cultures. Staff was super helpful and very patient with my mediocre French. After our horrible experience next door at Charlie Birdy, we decided to check this place out. We stopped in for some appetizers and drinks around 10PM and had a really good experience. The food was great and our server was very friendly and attentive and it was surprisingly inexpensive considering the area it is in. We didn't stay too late, but I think this place turns into a club after hours. It looked like there were a lot of locals there and I think it would be pretty fun to dance and party in. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice little spot in this area of Paris. read more

Located just a half a block from the main drag in Paris. This bar is a gem. They play lots of American Hip Hop and Rap songs but we were the only ones in there so im sure they play other music. The restaurant/bar is decorated with a modern touch. There is hookah lounge connected to the bar but you can't smell it while you are enjoying the bar. They offer an awesome happy hour until 8PM almost everyday and checking in on Yelp gets you a discount as well! Try the steak with chips its amazing. Also the drinks are made strong and are decently priced during happy hour. We tried the Monaco. Its a must have when in Paris! Good drinks, good eats and good people. read more

On a 17-day European vacation with my husband, I needed to kip away for a bit and have a drink, read my book, and enjoy a tiny bit of apart time. I dodged into Dogstar around 3PM - it was well-lit, I was promptly greeted and sent to a comfy chair, and provided a small bowl of bar-mix with my drink. For E10.40, my cosmo was HUGE and delish - strong but not too sweet. For all that it is also a hooka lounge, there was no odor in the main room. There were some small private-ish rooms in the back on my way to the bathroom. Free wifi password was provided when I asked. When I ordered a second drink and went to the restroom, they waited until I returned to bring it to me - I thought that was rather classy (not just dumping it on the table). Another customer ordered food and it looked and smelled great. Friendly to an American, good drinks and service for a reasonable price. read more

Dogstar is my favourite go-to, accessible (no douche factor) night time place around the champs-élysées area. It's open till 4, drinks are decent price (for somewhere in the middle of Paris), the music is usually good, and they have shisha! So the shisha isn't the best around, and the service is variable, but..it's a good option if you're after a decent night out. Friday and Saturday nights get pretty busy later, and sometimes have an entrance free. After midnight there's usually good mix of rap/trap/hip-hop/R&B and others... I've never eaten here, but lots of people do, and they seem to serve food quite late. I keep coming back because it's easy to get to, fair prices, plentiful shisha and good music! read more

I would give it a 0 star if I had an option. The place is ok, over priced for what it offers and the atmosphere was ok. The food was ok, once you get passed the frozen appetizer and the creme cheese sauces they offer for the pastas everything else was ok . This wasn't the problem, food places are hit or miss and chefs do have bad days which is understandable. The reason why this place is an effin disgrace is when they charge off a different menu than the one they put in front of you. We got the bill and it was significantly higher than the amount on the menu (223 euros instead of 163). Now for the fun part, when we confronted the waitress she said we charge you off a different menu at night, and when we asked why we weren't presented with that menu she said they only had one available. This is not right, it's an exploitation of tourists and just a complete bs. Please watch out!! read more

The shisha was really nice and service was friendly if a bit slow, however, for us the room was pretty smoky with cigarettes and poorly ventilated. Obviously smokers wouldn't mind, but for a couple of occasional shisha smokers this wasn't a nice place to spend much time. read more

This has to be the worst place I've ever eaten. The fried calamari could not be identified (came in fake rings) with a chopped up consistency and unidentifiable taste. We tried the nachos were half bad with almost no chips and another unidentifiable meat. Now, drinks. I ordered a vodka martini up with olive- said they couldn't make it though they clearly had vodka. Asked for gin martini up- they could make that but brought back some horrible mix of who knows what. The bartender clearly didn't want to make drinks not on the menu. Don't bother unless you have time to waste. The waiter with the earrings and a man bun asked us for drinks. We ordered and he brought them to us within 5 minutes. They were extremely watered down. After 25 minutes, we had already finished our drinks and wanted to try something else. The waiter had never came back to the table. I got up and went to him. He was on the phone by their register. I tapped his shoulder and he didn't move. I then went around to his face and he just nodded at me and said he's on the phone. This lasted for another 5 minutes. Then he disappeared to the back. The dark skin girl also working there just kept looking at us, but didn't ask us if we needed anything. After waiting for the man bun waiter for another 15 mins, we just decided to pay for our round and left. So much for wanting to eat and looking to try more drinks. My boyfriend and I wanted to go to a place for drinks. While we were there we ordered a Cuba libre and vertige. Drinks were on the sweet side. The Cuba libre had flat coke soda and lime (hint of rum) and the vertige was more juice than anything else. We changed our mind and decided to have hookah so we were moved to the back room. We waited 15 mins for someone to take our hookah order. My boyfriend stepped out to the main area to ask our waiter for what hookah we wanted. The waiter was on his phone. When my boyfriend tapped his shoulder, he ignored him and walked away. My boyfriend and I waited another 5 mins then paid our tab and left. We understand that the guy could've been having an important conversation (things happen), but the least he could've done was tell the another waiter/waitress to help us out, not outright ignore us.
