Recently, we found Luke's Repairs and Remodeling to address the following issues: all interior and exterior doors were replaced and reframed, all pocket doors were replaced with new hardware which required removing and replacing the drywall. We also needed the entire house painted, a closest built around our mechanicals and additional shelving erected in the laundry area, as well as some electrical work. Luke came out, listened to everything we had to say and gave excellent input for the project. He gave us an estimate and stayed within the estimate for the entire job. Luke started on time, communicated throughout the entire timeline and ended on time. Luke, as well as his skilled carpenters, never minded being interrupted with questions and always took the time to communicate clearly. The project took approximately two weeks to complete. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Luke's warehouse to choose the items we needed for the repair and remodeling. Luke also did all the ordering, pick up and checked the materials that were delivered. We never had to bother with any items that were needed for our home. When I asked for his credentials, Luke did not hesitate to provide me a copy of his Kentucky contractor's license and his insurance. We noticed the way Luke was with the men he worked with. They had immense respect for each other. We are confident that the crew will stay with Luke. Finding a quality business to do home repair and remodeling is very difficult. Luke's Repair and Remodeling is a stellar company. My wife said, "Luke and his carpenters have made me fall in love with my home again". This is an absolute hidden gem. There are multiple greenhouses on the property. I came in with a plan of what I needed and of course, ended up leaving with more. From speaking with the owner (Steve) and Mel (who may be the manager?), I learned that they have plans for expansion and they hand grow most, if not all, of their flowers and plants. I haven't seen flowers this beautiful at any of the other big box stores around. All of the employees have been friendly and have had great recommendations for me. I'm trying a few new flowers this year because of these recommendations. I look forward to their expansion/move and will continue to shop here for my landscaping needs.

I, like many, am doing a lot of gardening while staying "healthy at home" and this is just what I needed. Plants were competitively priced, typically based on size of pot and if perennial or annual. A lot of plants are unmarked and not priced but there were MANY employees around the greenhouses to help answers questions. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There are wagons to carry plants and the staff will assist in taking them to your car. They have trees, shrubs, tropical plants, succulents, traditional annuals, unique perennials, soil, fertilizer. They accept cards but everything is hand calculated. The place is family run and give it a charming experience. The location is slightly tucked away, gravel lot parking, some odds and ends all over but a completely enjoyable place and experience. I will definitely be going again.

Dale himself called while the worker was there and asked for payment upfront ($600), so we paid for the work that Dale said would be done the following week. That was 3 months ago. I have left message, sent texts over and over and no one will call back. Check was cashed and work is not done. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HILLSIDE HEARTH!!!
