There were railroad tracks and several types of railroad equipment, including a couple engines and even some cabooses. Unfortunately, the tracks are a long buried and even washed away where they crossed the creek. I don't think anything has run here in many many years, but it was still incredible to see they had their own man-made creek that originally had a concrete bottom and stonewall sides with a very neat covered bridge. I guess they had live animals at one time, but all I saw were some geese. I didn't get a chance to venture too far because the grass was very high and I didn't want to take a chance of getting ticks. There is a nearby store which serves lunch counter food, I had a foot-long hotdog and fries, which was quite good and reasonably priced they also have soft serve ice cream. I found the place by accident by taking the back roads on my way across West Virginia. I'm really glad I found it. It's just a place I enjoy.

The gas pumps at this location worked just fine...but I have to admit I was a little concerned about parking and walking inside to get food. The locals hanging about outside are clearly part of a community, likely one that is centered around a particular type of product that is certainly not sold by Sheetz. The food was fine - not as good as the Uniontown Sheetz, but it was OK and these days a $9 meal that is filling and not McDonald's is a bargain. I did not check out the bathrooms so perhaps did not get the full experience - the rest of the place inside was clean, and the staff was friendly. Nevertheless, I am not sure I will go out of my way to return.

Typical 7-11 Convenience Store. It is small with a tight private parking lot., so you have to be…read morecareful backing out. They had several slush machines, the MTO area was good and the staff was very friendly to a large bus full of student athletes and their coaches (and radio broadcaster) Would stop back if in the area and recommended highly.

Growing up, you had to do a Sheetz run after school, or before school, or late night or, well, any time you needed something. This Sheetz is newly remodeled and man it shows. Okay, so first off, it has a drive-thru! A DRIVE-THRU, can you believe? Man, how amazing is that MTO when you're just chilling in your car while it's being made? In addition, they've got some outdoor seating as well so if you feel like, "dining in" you can. Sheetz has a car wash and brand new pumps as well. Inside is nice and clean with a bunch of monitors to order food off of. A big area to get a soda or, "pop" because I'm back in Pennsylvania. Want to make a milkshake? Sure, make your own, just watch out who pops up in your yard. Sheetz also has a bunch of snack options like those Snyders of Berlin chip as well as bottled drinks too. The food is made on site as you order so sometimes, depending on the time of day, it may take a little bit- it did for me because I was there around midnight with everyone else in town. I got a snack wrap with bacon and ranch dressing which comes in packs of two or three. They were delicious. The perfect size to eat and not feel like a complete pig, but of course I had some chips with it as well. I will always be ride-or-die team Sheetz no matter how many other competitors come and go. There is something about this place, probably nostalgia that keeps me coming back, plus the MTO's (Made to order) are absolutely fire, especially after you've had a drink or two in you, but that's another story. Long live Sheetz.
