I am a travel ICU RN & I was looking at him as he placed his hand in his sleeve over his mouth. He then asked me if I "have a problem?" I replied "yes, you're not wearing a mask like everyone else in this store. I told him I am a ICU nurse and our state is under a mask order." He removed his sleeved hand from his mouth and said "there, Im not wearing a mask at all & called me "Karen" as if thats some sort of insult. I will be a "karen" when it comes to people not wearing masks. I've been all over this country in the past 10 months and pulled sheets over so many deceased patients...I have lost track of that number. The problem I have with Dollar Tree is the cashier at the register proceeded to chit chat with this man and his wife. Once they were checked out at the register the cashier very loud and nicely told them to " have a GREAT DAY" but when I checked out she did not say one word to me. I was in my lawful right to call this man out. We have a state mandated order which is the LAW. Not wearing a mask in public is a civil crime. The cashier had every legal right to ask the man to step outside for the heath and safety of the other customers. She chose not to do this. I will be calling their headquarters in Virginia on Monday morning for her rudeness and disregard for Colorado state law.

The smell was horrific and the cashier, Matt, basically said it was okay because it was a service dog!!! Seriously??? I'm so glad I wasn't buying any food. I WILL NEVER go inside this store again and am in the process of contacting the higher ups of Family Dollar so they are made aware of how their "manager" is taking care of their business!

So i only went here when i just needed one thing real quick and didn't want to fight rush hour. I did my best to get in and out asap.. To my surprise, they were very polite and friendly. They have some cheap, off brand stuff, but it is clean and organized. My cashier, Ashley was stocking shelves but dropped what she was doing when she saw me headed to the check out line. She seemed genuinely happy to help. I told her i was wary to even shop there, and she told me they have a whole new staff. Idk what was going on before but i didn't have any problem. I found what i needed quick and convenient at a low price.. I think good people make all the difference, so i would recommend this place at this point in time.

We always find everything we're looking for (and things we didn't know we needed) when we come here. The staff are friendly and helpful. One thing I recently discovered is that they sell balloons and they'll also inflate it for you too. This is very helpful since many places around either don't do it or it costs a bit more to get it done. The things you get here go a long way for what you pay.
