I haven't tasted it myself yet, but on a whim I sprinkled a little on one of my cat's favorite toys. He went nuts!! In the past, he has showed mild interest in catnip, so to see him flipping that toy up in the air and chasing it was awesome!! Who knows how old the stuff you buy in the store is. I can only say that that your cat is in for a treat with their fresh, amazing Catnip Tea!!

The taco shell was made from a puffed rice - I did not pick this up and eat it like a taco, but instead elected to eat it with a fork. Quite delicious. My husband had the salmon bowl, which came with rice, avocado, and asparagus, which he said was really good. We will absolutely be back when in the area again!

After a quick stop at the farm stand to check in and get our bags weighed, we went down to the stop sign and started picking. Tips for the best strawberries and yes they taste as good as they smell. 1 bring several small bags - the strawberries are so ripe they will squish in big bags 2 wear a hat - you are out in the sun 3 start at the end away from the cars - that area is less picked over. 4 have fun - that is part of the process.

There is some debate on of Pueblo or Hatch chilis are the best. They specifically mentioned getting the dynamite because it is more spicy or the hottest green chili. I had to try it out. I bought a bushel of the dynamite and had them roast garlic in with it. I made some green pozole and it was very good. If you are passing through or even if it is a little out of the way it is well worth stopping. So there is more work involved, you need to de seed and a little prep to store these but in my opinion it is well worth it. Stop by and check them out.

We make a trip to DiSanti Farms every year around the end of September. We always purchase two…read morebushels of Pueblo chilies for ourselves and then a couple more for family and friends. We generally arrive on a Friday around noon and there may or may not be a line. It's okay as there is something therapeutic about watching them roast the chilies accompanied by the smell. Fall is in the air. We bring several coolers with to keep the chilies warm and to seal the smell in for the ride back to Castle Rock. Once we get home we spread the chilies out on our patio table to allow them to cool. We then bag about 8 chilies in quart size freezer bags. We get about 27 bags of chilies per bushel. The chilies are always tasty and the level of heat fluctuates from year to year. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I saw big boxes full of pumpkins so I think they're bought and put out on the lawn vs being grown on the premise. Also kinda expensive! My pumpkin was big and beautiful but ended up being $12. That being said, admission is free so it's not too bad. There are cute photo opportunities throughout the pumpkin patch area and it's pet friendly so I took some cute pictures of my kitten. The hay ride is fun and takes you to the gift shop which has lots of jams, syrups and a cafe. Sadly they were out of apple cider donuts and didn't have as much pumpkin treats as I would have wanted. Also there is no corn maze :( Overall, it's a fun little orchard and pumpkin patch that's near Colorado Springs. Id recommend going early if you want to try to catch the apple cider donuts!

The highlight was definitely the quesabirria taco. There was so much cheese on there it really makes it juicy and salty. Not the best tacos I've had in town but not a totally disappointment.
