They arent prices that make me want to buy something I dont really need just because its so cheap. For this reason I would give them 3 stars. However, the cause behind this store is amazing and makes me want to shop there as often as possible. This store is a non-profit that gives ALL its profits to orphanages, clean water projects and more. They do an unbelievable amount for people in need. We usually hit this place up for birthday party decorations, gift bags, balloons and even candy and small toys to fill the gift bags with. As in the name, it's a buck or less. They have everything you could imagine a store like this would have. The staff, at least when I have been there, are friendly. The store can seem a bit cluttered and slightly unorganized at times but they have what you need in a pinch. Is a great place to get your holiday gift wrapping items of which we took advantage of this year. Not a bad place to walk around and see what cheap stuff they have. I know we will continue to go here simply because it is cheaper to buy the items I mention above here than to buy them from Walmart next door.

When we returned to our car, we were greeted by a delightful Boardman denizen sitting on the sidewalk, leaning against the bumper of our car & chain-smoking, smoke billowing around our car & filling our lungs. Not knowing this I stopped by on a recent Tuesday…read more The door was open and a lady was standing inside near the door so I didn't think to look at the hours on the door, but as I walked in she told me "we aren't open - I'm just here to water the plants." I was able to take a quick look around and saw none of the nice and interesting items on the Joshua Tree website (which I checked out after my failed visit), no eye-catching vintage or antique pieces. Maybe there is a second floor where the website stuff is? There was a second person who had stopped by randomly as I had so there's obviously enough interest in at least Tuesday hours. When this place IS open they close at six, so if you work till five and want to visit you better leave work early. Youngstown needs more antique / vintage / resale stores; right now Akron is the place to go for vintage shopping. Doubt I will give this place another chance.

Been awhile since I updated. We no longer do our weekly shopping here, not because of anything…read morewrong, just the cost factor. I still use the pharmacy, and we will shop here for certain items that we can't get elsewhere or when we get gift cards. So, while not every week, I'm still a regular. The store has remained cleaned and well stocked with excellent staff. Can't complain at all. As it is the pharmacy staff I have the most regular contact with, shout-out to them. I've had multiple times where I've had issues with my insurance over something, I've had to get something ordered in that's not stocked, etc. and they've been nothing but helpful. They have gone out of their way to help get things fixed or figure out a problem. I also have zero issues with getting an egg-free flu vaccine every year. They are a wonderful group, the lot of them.

I have addressed overpriced / mispriced merchandise and was told it was not big deal. A $9.00 error in one trip is a big deal. I filed an online complaint a week ago. Crickets. Perhaps, this is the future in the grocery industry in Canfield.
