One overall, the store itself was clean, spaced out , not a lot of selection for women. The store reminded me off a cross between several stores: Gabes, Big Lots, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree...a weird dynamic... Something for everyone based on what your needs may be. Roses Discount was founded over 100 years ago in North Carolina and primarily operates in the SE United States. Recently, they opened a location in the Youngstown area, so my chick and I had to check it out. This is definitely a discount store, as evidenced by the harsh lighting, haphazard layout & clearly used shopping buggies. It's a junk store essentially, but if you like that sort of thing (and I do) this joint isn't bad. They have toys, clothing, craft supplies, junk food, health & beauty items, and an interesting parade of patrons. We picked up some wrapping paper (the wife has a wrapping paper hoarding problem) and bounced. read more

Horrible! The store smells of mildew, looks like 1995, and selling "name brands"? Sure. The store sells things K-Mart won't even touch. The juices have stuff floating on them, service is terrible, and overall appeal is just bad. Go literally ANYWHERE ELSE!!! read more
