I then drove 45 minutes to Kroger, only to receive a text at 3:55 PM, after I was already in the parking lot, stating that my order was not going to be ready. This is ridiculous and completely disrespectful of customers' time. Kroger asks customers to select a pickup window, notify the store when they are on the way, and trust that the order will be ready as scheduled. I did exactly what was required, and Kroger still failed to deliver on its end. A 45-minute drive is not a minor inconvenience. This cost me time, fuel, and unnecessary frustration. Last-minute notifications like this are unacceptable, especially when they come after the customer is already en route or has arrived. Kroger needs to either honor the pickup times it offers or stop advertising a service it is clearly not managing properly.

However, the staff at the bar tend to be surly, while the check out staff are always friendly. Not sure if they hate their jobs and owners or just always having a bad day when I go.

Took them 45 min at least to test the battery and make sure it really didn't work. Then, they spent another 30 min trying to find our replacement battery. Then, they finally brought us A one yr old battery! We were told A couple diff things by A couple diff workers, so we had to get the manager, which took another 20 min. It was the only battery our size left. Then we were stuck w/old battery, got it to LEAVE. Manager told them to check us out bc they still kept checking new customers out, even after told they still couldn't stay focused on us. But rather new customers who were buying their groceries back here in the tire dept. Wow, it was wild. By the time they finally checked out the exchange, we had seen 8 different ppl come in to return and exchange their batteries! Let this be A warning. We don't recommend buying A battery here!!
