I'm not fond of shopping at this location. The store always looks like it stopped in the middle of…read morestocking. Boxes full of items needing stocked clutter the aisles. Shelves look mostly empty. There are stickers that say "new item" but only 1-3 items are there representing that new item. Sparse is the best word to fit this store. Every time I visit, no matter time of day, hardly anyone is shopping and the cashier acts exhausted. Is it a bad location? Can't or wont hire more help? I hope this place improves eventually.

This year, 2023, a gentleman named Tim took over running the store and has COMPLETELY turned it around! It is now so clean, organized, well stocked and friendly! You couldn't get down most of the aisles before without tripping over things, it was an ADA nightmare no way someone in a wheelchair could get around in there. Now the aisles are clear! Tim greets you with a smile and a kind word and cares so much about your shopping experience. I was in there today and speaking with him and an older Hispanic woman came in and he greeted her in Spanish and carried on a conversation with her in Spanish which was so wonderful to see the inclusion and love for all people of different backgrounds and cultures. Which is not common in this area. I am so grateful this gentleman Tim came in and took over this store. He leads his team with kindness and confidence. I hope dollar general knows and values what an amazing store manager they have. Great job Tim and thank you for all your hard work!

For what it is, Big Giant is great. Big Giant helps me do that! Big Giant Warehouse sells canned goods, frozen foods, sundries and other household items at deeply discounted prices because the items are over expiration date, or came from stores that went out of business. You may not feel comfortable purchasing certain items that are over expiration date (I know I didn't feel comfortable purchasing 29 cent Lunchables that were a year over expiration), but canned goods last forever and frozen foods have a much longer shelf life. I was able to get aluminum foil for 49 cents, canned veggies for 49 cents each and a box of 20 granola bars for a little over $2.00. I believe they are open from 10am - 6pm Monday - Saturday. Maybe I can take my grocery savings and go out for dinner once a week now!

They mark it up 30 % higher then mark it down 50 to 80% I'm not a handwriting analysts but it looks like the same person has been doing this alone for years. I've been shopping there for, well let's just say a long long time. I hate it when people think I'm an idiot. Most of the items are out of date, style, have stains, smell like smoke or have missing pieces. They could make a fortune if they would quit being greedy and try being honest, leave the original prices on and give a discount. If you have been there, you know they are not paying their bills from sales, it's a ghost town. It looks like a front for something more lucrative.
