I visited the store yesterday, and had a bag with items in it with me when I entered the store that I set on the belt and then handed over behind the counter to give to her. When I got to checkout, after the bag was behind the counter, I realized I forgot something. Since we were waiting for a manager anyways, I indicated to her that I needed one moment, before going to grab what Id forgotten. She absolutely was aware of the the bag that I brought in and that was with her behind the counter. Yet, when I returned to the register with what I'd gotten, the bag was not there and she acted like I never brought in a bag essentially. She stated she didn't move the bag, she doesn't remember seeing what was in the bag, that she's the only employee in the store, and that no one else had been up there. She did not indicate to her manager that she'd seen or handled the bag at all. The manager, who identified herself as Amanda (a white woman. Appeared to be five foot something. Naturally brown hair at the roots that it looks like she tried bleaching herself, while being unaware of the existence of toner. The resulting color is an orangeish, yellowish, brassy combination), was totally unprofessional and seemed generally unconcerned and uninterested after being informed that the bag had been moved, and therefore my belongings that were in the bag were either stolen or missing. The store has definitely changed since the last time I was here, I love how there's so many different varieties of household items in the store and for pretty decent prices too. So I got a couple things and realized when I got home one was damaged, so I went back to make sure they had one left and they did so I got that and asked the "manager" if I could return my item to any store, when I did that she was not pleased and tried to get me to signup for rewards when I said No thanks, she had nothing more to say to me!
