It is a larger store that the aisles accommodate two carts passing through on each side and offers a full grocery and furniture department. I typically patronize the Monroeville Lots and though I like that location as well, they always seem understaffed and have way more people shopping there. Here it felt kind of the opposite. As a fan of Big Lots in general, one can find many great deals to fill your cart. This particular shopping trip I was on the hunt for some drapery rods, but also found an assortment of gourmet organic coffee, cleaning products, and paper products. While strolling around we viewed the clearance outdoor furniture, lighting, and décor, because hey it is the end of July we have to make room for the Christmas trees. The only negative I had was either their ceiling was leaking or an air conditioning unit around the checkout area where water dripped down on me and covered the floor. No sign mind you. Also the employee who rung me up was not the nicest. Seemed very interested in getting me out of there. Hey maybe that is why this location is seems to lack customers.

My experience with their produce and meats has been very good; I have bought their hamburgers several times and found them to be excellent in quality. Checkout is pretty quick; there are no self-scan registers in this store (that would be nice) but I have never waited in line more than a few minutes. Given its location, the excellent prices, and that aisle of shame, I will be here often.
