This store from the time I moved to this town in 2007 was a messy, disorganized store, with cranky…read moreemployees. This year, 2023, a gentleman named Tim took over running the store and has COMPLETELY turned it around! It is now so clean, organized, well stocked and friendly! You couldn't get down most of the aisles before without tripping over things, it was an ADA nightmare no way someone in a wheelchair could get around in there. Now the aisles are clear! Tim greets you with a smile and a kind word and cares so much about your shopping experience. I was in there today and speaking with him and an older Hispanic woman came in and he greeted her in Spanish and carried on a conversation with her in Spanish which was so wonderful to see the inclusion and love for all people of different backgrounds and cultures. Which is not common in this area. I am so grateful this gentleman Tim came in and took over this store. He leads his team with kindness and confidence. I hope dollar general knows and values what an amazing store manager they have. Great job Tim and thank you for all your hard work!

Ill wait I said . A young man that didn't work there must have heard me and he and his father actually helped me, a Big thank you to them. Once it was loaded an employee came out and asked to see my receipt to make sure I paid the right price. I told him don't matter it's loaded and I'm leaving with it. This store has the largest selection of foods in town, and it is the only source of fresh foods…read more There are lots of deals and discounts, and this store carries the Best Choice and Always Save brands. There are some home essentials available for purchase, but this is mainly a food store. They have shopping carts and baskets for convenience. The back of the store looks like there used to be a butcher for fresh meats, but now there isn't one. Some of the store aisles are unorganized and dirty. Most of the workers seem like younger people, and they were playing some game over the intercom system while I was shopping. It wasn't a very professional atmosphere.
