As we discussed this at the 4th of July cookout at my mom'n'em's, I looked up store hours and it was open! YASSS! We had an hour and a half to get there and check it out. So this place is really insane. Merchandise is everywhere. In big bins on pallets they will have a large quantity of whatever item (all similar/same) such as...NASCAR flip flops, 4th of July decor, cowboy boots, whatever. You just start digging to see if they have your size/color/whatever. There are racks of clothes separated into shirts, pants, skirts. Dig for the sizes, it isn't separated in that manner. Clothes were from Old Navy, Target, Talbots, and maybe some GAP items. Shoes are on shelves and are somewhat separated by size, but I'd double check it. Electronics and home goods and other rando items are scattered all willy nilly on shelves in the back. Be sure to check your electronic item by plugging it in and making sure it works - they provide a table and batteries/tools in the back. It is a complete treasure hunt through random discontinued items and returns. Apparently, you then look at the tag and look up on a hanging sign to see how much it is? I couldn't figure that out, but the marked prices were pretty cheap as it was so I was ok. I ended up with 3 shirts (ummm...one of them was $1!), a pair of red sneakers, and 8 USA Flag beer koozies for a very reasonable price. If you had time to check this place out regularly, I think you could find tons of good stuff. Time and patience are needed. And don't forget: NO RETURNS. They will announce that 100 times while you are there and then point it out to you on your receipt and highlight it....of course, that's AFTER you already paid so.... Give this place a try when you are feeling relaxed, patient, and ready to buy rando shit!!

But what made me fall in love is the cavatellis in frozen section . I have had a hard time finding them in Nashville . They also have a fantastic fish section . Only complaint is I won't buy farm raised fish . They do have wild caught though too . And the many many flavors of mentos gum is chefs kiss . I also enjoy the soups in the deli , bakery and fresh flowers and potted flowers . Bakery is Probaly the best you're gonna find in Nashville . The cakes and pasteries are very pretty . They offer vegan options on cookies which is much appreciated.

One of the customers mentioned out loud customers were wanting to buy their stuff and go, as we could all here the store employees in a back room, talking loudly about how bad their store was. Once one of the employees heard the annoyed customer, she stormed to the counter and said to me very condescendingly that I needed to ring the bell to get their assistance. Of course, there was no sign, and the bell was at the far end of the counter and not very visible. The attendant went on tapping the bell very aggressively, where the other store employee said she would be right with us. That is when the rude employee at the counter said out loud in an angry voice that was not a customer, it was her teaching us how to use a bell. If I did not need to take this adaptor to my very ill mother-in-law at the hospital, I would likely have shoved the bell up her ass. This should be an embarrassment to Dollar General and trash like that should not be allowed to work anywhere around customers.

Corporate needs to take some of those profits they're raking in, hire some decent people, and do some freaking customer service training. Clean up your damn parking lot! It's disgusting! If it wasn't for the fact that I need to go farther afield in order to get the things I need, I'd stop going here at all. They've only been in business for a couple of years and if things don't turn around, I'm thinking they'll probably be out of there in a couple of years.
