This store itself is just the right size, if you are going in for a couple of things, you can do it without slogging down miles of aisles and coming out mysteriously having spent almost a hundred dollars. The pharmacy is wonderful and deserves a review of its own because the people are just that nice. And helpful. Just like the people at Murfins! The market helps the community by supporting school fund-raising events.

They had so many varieties to choose from, most they bring in from Wisconsin and elsewhere. I believe the pimento cheese is the only one they make in house. I absolutely HATE the self checkouts there is 5 people standing around self checkouts when they could be opening up some lines to keep the flow moving. I just won't use them if I have to shop there I would rather stay in line they mess with the checkouts. Walmart keeps saying they are going to remove them and never do. I appreciated it when there was speedy checkout lanes as well as other lanes. There was a checker at each checkout line too when it was busy. Now they have a few lanes and only a few are open. While the employees are paid to stand around taljing to one another. Used to have a subway and hair salon in there. Both are closed for no apparent reason. Subway was really good you could sit there and people watch but can't do that anymore. Can't get a sandwich when you get done shopping. Ozark Walmart used to have a beautiful tiled floor and they tore it all up for absolutely no reason exposing the ugly gray concrete underneath it like the getto Springfield Walmarts. It's not open 24 hours anymore. I used to be able to go there anytime I needed. If I didn't want to deal with the crowds I could go there at 2 AM if I wanted to. Absolutely no reason for that we aren't in ghetto Springfield where people steal. if someone does steal it's easy to hire security and call law enforcement like they used to. Ozark Walmart used to be a happy place. but it's absolutely terrible. Sam Walton was a great manager and it was a million times better under her leadership. Now it SUCKS! When I visit my grandparents in Clever, I often stop in here to get my caffeine fix (Monster Energy, Lo Carb). They had the best price in town...only 1.59 a can, so I came in here on a fairly regular basis. I also stopped in here to pick up a few other goods, and they run pretty decent sales. Most of their non-sale goods are very expensive, but it's expected in a small town like Clever. They're lucky to even have a store! People who work here are friendly enough, and the store is clean and well lit. They put out a very decent ad, and also have their own membership card. You build up points, and get certain products for a very low price. It works out well, and is a big advantage over Price Cutter and Harter House. Again...I am quite surprised by the selection and quality of goods for being in the middle of nowhere. I'd go back, mostly because it's a lot better than shopping at Wal Mart.

But did I mind coming back no absolutely not!! The second Kwik trip allowed me to spend loads more time in the center aisle perusing the very special deals. This tall clerk started to ring me up but then left without warning and left me at the checkout with a line forming. After a usually long wait, he came back with a picture with the higher price and told me I was wrong about the sale price. I know what I saw and felt like I was accused of being called a liar. I went back the next day to voice my concern, but the sale price had been removed. I should have complained at the time but now do not trust this place. To top that off, I purchased some 95/5 ground round the other day, and it was full of grease. I will be looking for another place to buy my meat.
