It was super easy getting in and out of this location with its huge parking lot. There are plenty of employees inside and everything was easy to find. Compared to the Lowe in Springfield this location is much more user friendly. Lowes is. Great place to go Christmas shopping for the man in your life as well. It's a nice clean store. The shelves are pretty well stocked, and they have most everything I want. Today (12/24), they seemed short staffed. Odd, since there were very few customers. One thing that bothered me was the amount of product that had been opened and taped back up. That was weird. There was a bunch more than I have seen elsewhere. read more

ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I purchased a new refrigerator & microwave and it took over a month for deliver, I understand with the supply and demand situation, but when they were finally delivered the delivery man damaged my door (knocked it off the hinge), said he was sorry and would have someone come right out and repair it. That's been over 3 months and I have made multiple phone calls and been on hold for hours to the store and have spoken to multiple managers and still have a broken door! I would never recommend purchasing anything from LOWE'S! read more

It's okay but not nearly as well stocked or organized as the ones in springfield. Also, I find a lot of things that have already been opened and resealed. That's a little unacceptable. If you need something and you're in town though, I guess it's the best you're going to do. read more

Wonderful experience. We purchased and had an attic ladder installed through Lowe's. The sales team was very helpful in choosing the best ladder for our needs (aluminum rather than wood). The installer called to arrange a time to take measurements to verify the chosen ladder would fit and that the joists would support the ladder (they would). We picked up the ladder and the installation went like clockwork the following week. Lowe's called the day after to make sure everything went smoothly. I have been shopping this location for the past 6 years. Unfortunately the level of service has fallen off over the past several months. There was a time that if you saw an employee they asked if you needed help. Now in most cases you have chase someone down. I am usually self sufficient however sometimes you need help and at the Republic Mo store that is now tough to get. Tonight was a good example. The lower shelf was empty of the product I wanted. However there was stock on the top self and ladder right there to get what I needed. I knew better than to use the ladder myself. After a few minutes of searching I found a young lady that worked there. She said she was in customer service and could not climb the ladder and she would page someone. She did as promised however there was no response even though I saw other associates no one came to help. I waited between 12-15 minutes. I left my full cart where it was and exited the store. My assumption is that the manager has changed and the expectations of customer service have fallen off. I drove to Menards got what I wanted and was interacted with by two employees while I was shopping. Lowe's in Republic you need to improve!!! read more

I'm currently working on quite a few home projects and usually when I come to the store I can't find an employee to assist me . Came to the store a few days ago looking for some dryer gas line adapters and their "Plumbing specialist" seems like she knew nothing about her specialty. Today however I had a much different experience! James not only helped me find the dryer gas line adapter that I was looking for but then proceeded to escort me around the store to find the rest of the items on my shopping list. He helped to make this one of the easiest Lowe's shopping experiences I've ever had. Thank you James for your excellent customer service!!! read more

This location is always lacking every time I go in. Today was no different than any other time. Place an order last night online, receive an email today and when I get to the store the incompetent cashier could not figure out how to find my order. Most people in the store appear to have a lack of training and most departments rarely stop to see if you need any assistance. If you, as a company, choose to those who cannot use logic then at least learn how to train them properly. Will never use this store again. read more

I shop here a lot. A was a professional floor layer years ago and pretty much DIY everything. I bought a back ordered fridge from here. The company kept delaying but it was expected. The sales man kept me updated and well informed. Contacting me several times over the ordeal. Great guy. My next big buy was a tankless water heater. Lowes only sells the vent to go through a wall. I had to buy the venting from a pluming supply store. Wow that stuff is priced high! I paid as much for plastic pipe as I did for the heater at Lowes. Not joking. I'm there at least once a week and the staff is always super polite and helpful if you ask. Seems like weekdays they are busy stocking shelves but glad to help if you ask. Weekends they are just looking to help someone. In the spring I bought several fruit trees as well. For a 1/3rd of the cost they were at a nursery I priced them at. I have probably been to this store 75 times and never had a bad experience. Highly recommend them! Reason I dinged a star is not carrying the venting for the tankless water heater. read more

Me and my wife would like to say that we Appreciate the assistance that we received from an employee by the name of Mason, on the purchase of a cabinet, he went and got a cart loaded it and took it to the front desk for payment and stored it for later pick up because of rain. he was a very polite young man. As a teacher and a new homeowner, I am really enjoying my summer off by starting a million diy projects (crafting, gardening, etc.). Where pinterest leaves off, the employees pick up. They answered all of my questions, made useful suggestions and made sure I got quality products (i.e. put back splintered wood, not attempting to upsale). Sure it's a big store and occasionally you have to walk a few aisles to find someone, but I don't mind. Friendly, knowledgeable people are my preference. read more

I shop here at Lowe's Republic their prices are competitive they always seem to have enough floor help, very willing to answer questions and will take you to the product if you need them to. I also like it because you can move around in the store freely unlike the one at Primrose where the parking lot is always full, the store is full of people thus if you need help all the floor people are busy with customers. Good for the store but not for me, I'd rather drive a couple more miles to Republic. Never had a problem here. S.W. Springfield read more

I was in this lowes prepared to spend in the neighborhood of $300. I walked in looked around and found what I needed but needed help to get item off top shelf. I started looking for Some one to help me but all the employees we're gather together laughing and being loud. I was not going to interrupt this party so I decided not to spend my money at a store the the employees don't care about future business.
