My partner and I have been shopping here for years. We always place separate orders because we also…read moreshop for my partner's elderly grandmother. We went to check out and we were informed we could not have different carts. I felt bad if this was store policy and we were not made aware before hand. However, the cashier did not need to aggressively toss all of our groceries into the same cart haphazardly before stating "you can separate it at the bagging counter." My tomato's were smashed and my partner's grandmother's dog food was also smashed. We are fine with following store policy, but she did not need to make an unnecessary point.

This is absolutely ridiculous and I will be seeking deserved retribution. This was an attack on my family directly. I like national brands.. I grew up eating/consuming national brands. Granted, we used coupons to…read moresave money, but we never purchased items in black and white boxes. Remember, that's how generic use to be packaged!? Anyway.. my husband has always been receptive to generic and over the years I've come to appreciate some Kroger brand items as well. But I never considered shopping at Aldi. I incorrectly perceived them to be one big generic store. My husband began working for a company with an Aldi close by. He'd stop in and grab little things at first... right around the time we really began reading labels on our food. He mentioned to me that many of their items contain minimal ingredients and often times the high fructose corn syrup that is in national brands isn't present in items at Aldi's. He got my attention with those revelations. I began visiting my local Aldi and there are several items I LOVE!! I won't list them, but I encourage you to find your own. I will admit that it's sometimes a nuisance to bring your own bags but we have to start being kinder to the earth anyway so it's a welcomed inconvenience... and you save a ton of money. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

Perfect Hallmark store…read more You know when you're at your local grocery store or Pharmacy and you just can't find that right card? Don't forget, there's probably a Hallmark store nearby. In this case, I was next door at my local Kroger looking through their selection of cards. I absolutely just could not find what I was looking for. I literally had the thought, "I wish I knew if there was a Hallmark store around here". Being new to the area, I honestly didn't realize there was one right next door. I went in there this week with my daughter looking to get Mom a birthday card and possibly a gift. A Christmas themed gift. They have hundreds of ornaments and many different statues to choose from. They do have a lot to offer in the gift department. Especially if you are looking for collections to build on. And of course, they've got cards. They've got cards and cards and cards!. They have cards for just about every occasion. We're in the internet age, and have been for a while. ECards just don't do a card justice. Hallmark does cards right. You'll find just about any card for any occasion with any mood. Would I go back? Definitely. So happy that I found this gem, so close to home, with such a great selection.
