As I am helping my dad out recently after his discharge from the hospital and had some furnace problems at my house I have had the opportunity to return to this store several more times. I was always impressed by their good prices on basic food items but especially on produce. Also I always received good customer service. The other day I was helping my dad run some errands and was pleasantly surprised when I ran in there to get bananas and berries. There was a "new lower price" sign on the bananas and they were loose not bagged in the bin. My biggest criticism has been about all the prepackaged produce. I want to pick it out myself. Now I can. So if there is anyone out there who feels like me I suggest that you too go to this Aldi store and encourage them to continue this new approach to selling produce. Until next time be kind to each other.

$50 people! Meat and fruits and all of the goodies you'll need for excellent eating!

Terrible customer service. Manager refused to help me. Corporate response is slow. Issues aren't easy to resolve here.

Be sure to bring two things: a quarter get a cart (you'll get the quarter back) and reusable grocery bags.

This is one place I visit nearly weekly (especially March-October). They are dedicated to their…read morecustomers and I feel like I'm always surprised/impressed by the variety of items offered in this small space. Some of the highlights of my experiences: -Location labeling/Local spending. Most all of the produce is labeled with its origin which helps me feel better. Sometimes, you just need an avocado, and while it may not have been grown local, at least I can feel good about my money staying local. -Small (and large) quantities available. It is here you can buy a single stalk of celery. I LOVE this. Sometimes, you just need a carrot or stalk of celery for a recipe and this is the place to get it (for fifteen cents). I can seriously find almost any produce that I need here-though I haven't tried it, this also seems like a place that would order a large quantity for you if you had a need. And you can always ask if you don't find what you need and Mr. Madison will let you know either where it is or why they don't have it. -Dry goods. Easily missed, behind the counter and back wall, they have a fairly expansive stock of dry grains, nuts, the like (even vanilla beans at Christmas). The staff are happy to help you with whatever it may be-a quarter cup of quinoa or 4 pounds of oats. This makes it super easy to try new things, or again, source a recipe. -Staff/Proprietors. The staff are always super helpful and attentive. This place can get busy and crowded, and it could get easy to get frustrated as a staff person in that environment. But, it my experience, they do what they can to help everyone quickly and direct new comers of the order of the line, or spend time getting your list of 43 bulk dry goods. The only point that might annoy newcomers is that this place is a bit small, and on a Saturday morning (especially in winter) it can get crowded. (PS the line starts in the back-see the sign hanging from the ceiling.) But, here's a tip-I've never tried it, but I do certainly have a bookmark from them that advertises that you can call in your order ahead of time during the week. Some day, I imagine I might be organized enough to do this. Also, during most of the summer, they have a tent outside with the larger quantities of seasonal produce which alleviates the crowd.

I recently stopped here since I was in the area checking out stores and I was surprised that they…read morehad a little grocery store here so me and my wife checked this place up. The staff here was absolutely warm, friendly and inviting. Grace selection of snacks and to go products that we were looking for. Prices were really fair for what they were worth. It's a really small store so be cautious that you may be shoulder to shoulder with some people. Overall, still a great place to check out.

I'm sorry, I really don't get this store…read more.. When we went the shelves were pretty bare, no one greeted us, and the cooler that looked like it houses veggies was completely empty. We were in on a Sunday around 1. So pretty typical biz hours? They are a curated mini-market of sorts making a home for niche locally made products like honey, jam, kombucha, coffee and sauces. I get the idea - and I appreciate it, I really do. I'm actually doing an event series called Cincy Made with nearly every vendor in this shop. I am a die hard supporter of local. But the part I don't get is what makes this shop any different from anything else? And that is straight up honest feedback. I am not trying to be mean, just an observation. There are just so many places that carry these locally made products now (especially at Findlay!) I just feel like they are going to have to do something different to separate themselves if they want to stay open longterm. I cannot see myself making a special trip here because most of what they have, I can just pick up where I am already doing my local shopping.

It's kinda like a curated boutique food market of sorts, in a lovely little space. I suppose some might think of this as hipster grocery shopping. If I lived nearby, it might be a place I'd get some special items for a dinner party, or in a pinch just to splurge on myself.
