The store still carries a variety of different things, perfect for you when you live in a small town. You can get pretty much anything you need here, including lottery tickets while you shop. I was there on April, 4 2024. I was sick and, I was on empty. I asked Mr. Wilson for $12 on pump 6. I put a five and, seven ones on the counter. He said that he was going to charge me for my drink. I said, " Are you kidding me? I just paid dairy queen for this drink and, you want me to pay you for the drink? It says dairy queen on the cup." Wilson responded by throwing his hands up in the air and, was yelling at me about how sick he was of people like me bringing in outside drinks. He was lecturing me like I was his child. I'm 60 years old. He kept yelling about how it was illegal to bring the drink inside the store and, there's serious health code fines and, violations. I looked behind me. I was hoping that a customer would need waited on. No one was behind me. I really needed to get out of there to take my insulin. I finally yelled back,"I hear you. I hear you! Can you please stop talking? Your voice is making me sick.' Mr. Wilson did stop talking. And, he pushed my money away from him and, told me that he didn't have to wait on people like me. I asked if someone else could wait on me . He said "No!" He yelled at me to leave the store or, he'd be calling the police. I asked for what? He said that I would find out when I have to pay a $500 fine. I put the 8 bills that Wilson had scattered all over the counter back in my pocket. He just kept yelling at me, "I'm calling the police! You need to leave now!" He kept yelling at me,pointing towards the door and why am I still in his store? I got my money gathered, He shouted that he called the police. Before I left the Sheetz Wilson told me that the world would be a better place if people like me weren't in it. I didn't speak to any police because, they never showed up at my house to question me. 2 weeks later, I got level 3 misdemeanors of disorderly conduct and, harassment by certified mail. It was from Sgt. Orr. The local Carmichaels cop. I had a criminal attorney representing me. The charges against me were dismissed on January, 21 2025.. Mr. Wilson wasn't there even though, he'd been subpoenaed by the judge. They had no surveillance video evidence. It's sickening. How one man can cause so, many problems for his customers. The district attorney wanted me to take a plea deal, knowing that Mr. Wilson wasn't even there. I knew I wasn't guilty. I was willing to take it to a jury trial. I stood my ground. I would never take any deal. From the reviews that I have read on different websites about the Carmichaels, pa Sheetz, other people have had problems with Wilson. I looked on the Sheetz website to see if they had any rules about outside drinks. I didn't find any. But, I did see on their website that Sheetz hires convicted felons. I've been to many Sheetz but, this is the only Sheetz that I recommend not to go to. Mt. Wilson continues to be the manager. He is mad at the world. And, it appears to me that he makes mountains out of mole hills The Sheetz corporate flows down to the Carmichaels Sheetz. Horrible place. Angry, weird and rude manager.
