By far the 'best of distressed' brand name discounters. They are often compared to Marshalls, but dedicated Gabe fans know better. Marshalls sucks, price wise, selection wise, quality wise. Some Gabe locations I've visited: in WV: Charleston, Morgantown, Beckley, in VA: Winchester, in MD: Bel Air and the Uniontown, PA. All are great, some are just greater. And as an added attraction the one in Beckley has a separate 'tent sale' store for super discounted items. Gabes and Big Lots give me the only shopping rushes I need.

I called to verify the very expensive display had been delivered and the woman that answered was very clipped and borderline rude. I kept starting a sentence and she cut me off repeatedly. She confirmed that they do not send a delivery confirmation, very poor customer service. I'm many hours away from recipient, it would be nice to get a delivery email AND it would avoid having to call Neubauer's and speaking to an employee who is annoyed to (imagine this!) answer a customer's question! Won't order from here again. I do hope she stops answering the phone for other customers, she has zero people skills.

The designers there really know their stuff and have helped me several times - I just describe what I think I need, and they bring it to life. Some floral (that my daughter-in-law kept touching to see if it was real), a wall hanging, cute lamps, some candles. They really know how to tie it all together.
