They took advantage of the fact that it is near a tourist area. They also took advantage of attempting to lure shoppers here. Another reason as to why it looks like the built in a hurry, they made it a supercenter, but built it too small. The inside of this thing is way too small to be consider a supercenter in terms of size. With the smaller floorplan you get a smaller selection of items. I noticed that was a complaint in at least one other review. I also noted that in another review, if you are not paying attention, you will bypass this place. Although I do not agree that it is good for any given area to have a Walmart. It comes off as convenient in the spur of the moment, but it really hurts a community most times. Walmart isn't the end all for shopping. Especially when it is as small as it is and doesn't really have that much in regard to variety. Alright, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here. It was just a quick stop for me as I wasn't really needing anything, but since I was out I stopped in. I did a quick once around the store to see if there was anything I needed. Of course, per usual, you come in here with no intentions on buying things and you end up with an armload of items before you know it. I grabbed a few items, paid and made my way back out to the car. Plushies, t-shirts, books, keychains, patches and so much more available. Mothman is THE cryptid of the state, and there are lots of Mothman things here. We picked up some Mothman potato chips, because we were curious what Mothman chips would taste like. (Turns out, Mothman tastes a lot like barbecue Lay's.) The store is also an overstock and liquidation store, a notary public and a place to get financial coaching. I can't even make this up. This store is so cool and random, and there are surprises around every corner. The people who work here are hella chill. But you'd have to be if you own and operate a friggin' store dedicated to cryptids, right? If you sell soap that smells like the Flatwoods Monster, you can't take yourself too seriously. Looking around you will find a lot of variety of items such pet supply, car items, jewelry, pillows, and more at a discount. After walking around we found some items that interested us and paid at the register. They have a big parking lot so no issues there.
